Ye Bing's finger curled around the trigger, her expression unreadable.
Wu Hao's face was cold as he threatened, "If you dare to pull the trigger, her head will explode in the next second. Go ahead, try it if you don't believe me."
Zheng Mengni lowered her head, avoiding any glance at Ye Bing, revealing no hint of seeking help.
"Fool, once she leaves the Zheng Family, you will be her only companion. Besides, you are her only relative."
"So, act well and lower her guard, understand? Don’t feel guilty; we are merely correcting a mistake."
Those heart-wrenching words echoed in her ears. She wouldn't expect someone who was already inclined to harm her to save her in such a critical moment. Moreover, the more she pleaded with Ye Bing, the more these people would believe she posed a threat to Ye Bing. In that case, her situation would only become more perilous.
Suddenly, Ye Bing lifted her eyelids and said in a teasing tone, "Brother Wu, why not let her plead with me? It might work better than your threats."
Zheng Mengni was taken aback.
Wu Hao pondered for a moment before instructing his subordinate to rip the tape off Zheng Mengni's face. The tape had been stuck too tightly; when it was torn away, it stung painfully.
Zheng Mengni remained silent.
In the rush to bind her earlier, they hadn’t fully appreciated how stunningly beautiful she was until she was completely exposed to their gaze. Her skin was flawless and fair, delicate and enchanting; beneath her long, dark lashes were a pair of pure and stubborn watery eyes.
She showed no signs of fear or wavering. Her cherry lips pressed together lightly, and her eyelids slightly lowered; throughout it all, she never sought help from the friend holding the gun before her.
At that moment, another gun lifted Zheng Mengni's pale chin, forcing her to raise her face.
"Speak up; plead with this sister to put down the gun, and perhaps she will spare your lives for now."
Two dark gun barrels pointed directly at Zheng Mengni. She found it even more terrifying than when Wei Jingxi had thrown the paternity test at her.
Zheng Mengni's brows softened as she slowly spoke, "He has only seen me three times; you can't use me to threaten him."
"Can't threaten him?" Wu Hao didn’t shift his gaze but spoke to Ye Bing instead. "Just shoot her."
Zheng Mengni remained unmoved, quietly lowering her head.
If she were truly to weep bitterly, it would be the end for her. The room was so silent that one could hear a pin drop.
Ye Bing, expressionless, aimed her gun at Wu Hao. "You've got quite the nerve," she remarked.
Wu Hao's gaze lingered on Zheng Mengni's delicate face, a restless desire stirring within him. He had no real fear that Ye Bing would pull the trigger; she simply didn't have the guts for it. Everyone cherishes their own life, and if Ye Bing couldn't kill him with one shot, he was certain all of his subordinates would turn her into a sieve in the next moment.
Zheng Mengni's voice was soft: "It seems you have more courage than I do."
"How so?" Wu Hao asked.
"Because you don't truly want to kill me, but that sister of yours genuinely wants your life."
Wu Hao laughed heartily. "What makes you think I wouldn't kill you?"
Zheng Mengni pressed her lips together in silence.
Wu Hao's eyes gleamed with madness. "Not only do I want to kill you, but I also want to play with you before I do!"
Zheng Mengni's eyelids fluttered slightly.
Ye Bing pressed the gun barrel firmly against Wu Hao's flesh, feeling the latter's loose skin tremble faintly. A mocking smile curled at the corners of Ye Bing's lips. "Brother Wu, I've never played with a gun before. If it goes off accidentally, don't just think about what's between your legs."
Wu Hao turned to the man behind Zheng Mengni. "Alright, Gao Hong, let that little girl entertain you tonight. Just be careful not to break her; we'll talk once this troublesome woman has made up her mind."
Gao Hong, already itching with desire, put down his gun and made a move to strip Zheng Mengni of her clothing. She smiled gently, her big eyes glistening with a hint of cautious charm.
Zheng Mengni spoke softly: "I'm willing."
She blinked, her lashes slightly damp. "But there are so many people here, brother..."
Gao Hong's heart softened immediately; he hesitated, caught in a dilemma as he glanced nervously at Wu Hao.
Seeing the beauty in tears stirred something fierce within Wu Hao.
He shouted irritably, "Get out of here quickly!"
With Gao Hong's permission, he immediately picked up Zheng Mengni from the ground and hurriedly carried her to another room. The door slammed shut with a bang, and Ye Bing silently withdrew her gaze.
A Qi realized something and felt a surge of anger.

In the next room, Zheng Mengni was gently placed on the sofa. She slowly and laboriously moved closer to Gao Hong, her fluffy little head resting against his chest, her soft voice barely above a whisper.
