Chapter One
My name is Li Yue. I just graduated from university and was eagerly embarking on my graduation trip.
Little did I know, joy would soon turn to sorrow.
With a sudden brake, my world spun out of control.
When I regained consciousness, I found myself lying on the bed of a Recreational Vehicle, with unfamiliar forests outside the window. Towering trees loomed overhead, blocking out the sun, and the air was filled with a strange floral scent.
"Welcome to the Fantasy Realm. I am your dedicated intelligent vehicle system AI, Odyssey," a crisp voice echoed in my mind.
I bolted upright, looking around but seeing no one.
"No need to search; I'm in your mind," Odyssey's voice chimed again. "Due to certain unavoidable circumstances, you have been transported here and bound to me."
It felt like a dream, yet it was undeniably real.
"Now, you need to complete the tasks I assign in order to unbind the system and return to your original world."
"What tasks?" I asked nervously.
"Collect Orc Fur, Iron-Eating Beast Cub Milk, and Tianzhu Peak Ore."
Hearing those strange names made me swallow hard.
"What are those things? Where am I supposed to find them?"
"Don't worry; I will provide assistance," Odyssey reassured me. "I will gradually unlock system functions based on your task progress, such as transforming the Recreational Vehicle, acquiring a Space Ring, Invisibility Cloak, and more."
I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down.
"Alright, I accept the mission." At this point, I could only take it one step at a time.
"Congratulations on making a wise choice!" The cheerful voice of Odyssey eased my anxiety a bit.
Next, Odyssey showed me the System Interface, which displayed my task progress, personal information, and some basic functions.
I wasn't quite used to this way of operating, but Odyssey was patient, guiding me step by step.
I tried to open the door and stepped outside.
As my feet touched the soft grass and I felt the gentle breeze on my face, I gradually calmed down and began to observe my surroundings.
Everything here was filled with a fantastical quality—tall trees, oddly shaped flowers and plants, and the distant calls of unknown creatures.
I cautiously explored the area, discovering some wild fruits and vegetables, and even found a clear little stream.
Odyssey informed me that all of these were edible and taught me how to identify which plants were poisonous.
"The first task is to collect Orc Fur," Odyssey interrupted my exploration. "According to the system prompt, Orcs usually reside deep in the forest."
"Deep in the forest?" I hesitated a bit. "Isn't that dangerous?"
"There is some level of danger, but I will do my best to ensure your safety."
Odyssey's words gave me a bit of courage. I returned to the Recreational Vehicle, preparing to set off.
"Wait," Odyssey suddenly said, "I've detected an Energy Fluctuation nearby; it could be another creature."
I immediately became alert, gripping the dagger tightly in my hand.
"What kind of creature?"
"Not sure yet," Odyssey's voice sounded tense. "I recommend you activate your Invisibility Cloak."
Following Odyssey's instructions, I activated the Invisibility Cloak and instantly felt as if I had blended into my surroundings.
"It seems to be coming closer!" Odyssey's voice grew increasingly urgent. "Prepare for battle!"
"What? Battle?" I exclaimed in shock. "But I don't know how to fight!"
"Trust me," Odyssey replied. "I will guide you."
A massive shadow darted out from the woods, and I nearly cried out in fright.
"Are you ready? I'm going in!" Odyssey's voice echoed in my mind.
"Wait," I hurriedly said, "how exactly are you going to help me?"
