Tiger Brother immediately shook his head. "Impossible. When you killed the Blood Emperor, he didn't have a single disciple left. Those so-called disciples were merely remnants of the Blood Emperor's will left on the walls! They were just later generations interpreting it at will; how could they possibly fathom something from so long ago?" 0

Chen Moxuan suddenly turned to Tiger Brother. "How do you know that?" 0

The latter instantly looked extremely awkward. 0

Chen Moxuan seized a handful of soft fur. "Ah, so you were watching me all along!" 0

Tiger Brother tilted his head back, refusing to meet his gaze, appearing as if he were a dead pig unafraid of boiling water. 0

Chen Moxuan yanked hard, pulling down a large tuft of red fur. 0

Tiger Brother let out a yelp and jumped up! 0

Roar! 0

Chen Moxuan immediately leaned forward. 0

Tiger Brother quickly closed his mouth. 0

However, the next moment, a sound like metal clashing rang out! 0

"With a copper head and iron arms, it’s not tasty!" Tiger Brother said with great grievance. 0

Chen Moxuan looked at him and chuckled lightly, but the playful interest in his heart gradually faded. 0

His gaze grew deep, as if piercing through the barriers of time and space, reaching back to an ancient era filled with blood and chaos. 0

His thoughts drifted through the mists of the past, those memories sealed by time unfolding like an ancient scroll in the ocean of his heart. 0

He remembered it was a stormy night. 0

Before he opened up the Blood Emperor's body, the latter had uttered one last phrase: "Do not let my disciples turn into demons; otherwise, it will all be too late!" 0

This sentence lingered in Chen Moxuan's mind like a curse, making it impossible for him to let go. 0

He understood deeply that the Blood Emperor's words were not without purpose; each word carried profound meaning. 0

Moreover, demons are not simply demons! 0

There are ten types of demons: 0

Heavenly Demon, those who test the path of heaven. 0
Earth Demon, bringers of all disasters. 0
Human Demon, those who captivate others. 0
Ghost Demon, vengeful spirits and evil ghosts. 0
Divine Demon, those who indulge in greed. 0
Yang Demon, obstructers of kinship. 0
Yin Mo, chaotic spirits in dreams. 0

The disease, a torment that clings to the afflicted. 0
The demons, the essence of wood, stone, and beast. 0
The illusions, those who glimpse the divine in a realm of chaos. 0

Chen Moxuan's thoughts lingered in the mists of ancient times, memories of demons wrapping around his heart like cold chains. The disciple spoken of by the Blood Emperor was no ordinary individual. Chen Moxuan had pondered this question for nearly a hundred moments. The only possibility that came to mind was that the Blood Emperor had once left behind a method for becoming a demon. The disciple must be someone who had comprehended this technique. 0

This was also why Chen Moxuan had devised his plan immediately after exiting the ruins. He was uncertain whether the ever-growing Blood Demon was a figure from ancient times resurrected or, as that damned Blood Emperor claimed, transformed into a demon! A strong sense of crisis surged within him; if possible, he wanted no contact with any demons! Those beings were not easy to deal with. 0

Tiger Brother, I need your help. Chen Moxuan's voice was low and resolute. He looked at Tiger Brother beside him, his eyes shining with an undeniable light. 0

Tiger Brother paused, clearly taken aback by Chen Moxuan's sudden seriousness. It blinked its eyes, trying to mask its inner turmoil. 0

Chen Xiaozi, you know I'm just an ordinary Tiger Demon; I can't be of much help. 0

No, you are not just any ordinary Tiger Demon! Chen Moxuan's tone grew firmer. It could be very dangerous ahead; if luck runs out, you might have to fight for me! 0

Tiger Brother blinked and muttered, I knew following you would lead to trouble. It sighed helplessly but understood Chen Moxuan's temperament—once he made up his mind about something, he would not easily change it. 0

Looking into Chen Moxuan's determined eyes, Tiger Brother felt a twinge of anxiety but ultimately sighed and nodded. 0

Alright, Chen Xiaozi, I promise you. Although I may just be a minor character, I will do my best to help you. 0

There was a hint of resignation in its tone, but more so trust and loyalty towards Chen Moxuan. 0

Chen Moxuan gazed at Tiger Brother with gratitude in his eyes. He knew that despite Tiger Brother's usual carefree demeanor, it always provided him with the greatest support at critical moments. 0

Thank you, Tiger Brother. Chen Moxuan said softly before leaping onto Tiger Brother's back. 0

Together they ventured forth. They traversed dense forests and crossed rushing rivers until they finally arrived at a dark and eerie valley. This valley was where Chen Moxuan had sealed the head of the Blood Emperor and also the battlefield where he fought against his master and the Blood Emperor. 0

The valley was surrounded by towering, pitch-black cliffs, resembling a crack cleaved by the mighty axe of a celestial being. Twisted vines and withered ancient trees coiled around the cliffs, their branches reaching skyward like the fingers of Gui Mei, desperately trying to grasp a sliver of light. 0

However, the light here was shrouded by a thick layer of black mist, casting an oppressive gloom over the entire valley. At the entrance of the valley stood an ancient altar, intricately carved with complex runes and bizarre patterns that seemed to be vessels for some ancient incantation, exuding a chilling aura. 0

Scattered around the altar were broken stone statues and shattered weapons, remnants that bore witness to a heart-stopping battle that had once taken place. Chen Moxuan and Tiger Brother approached the altar, gazing at the familiar Spell before them. The Spell was already marred by numerous cracks. 0

Suddenly, a rabbit dashed towards them, but in an instant, its blood drained away completely. Chen Moxuan's heart sank. One of the functions of these Spells was to prevent any living being from entering or even approaching this place. Yet that function had clearly faded. 0

As time passed, the sealing power had gradually weakened; it seemed that he had truly forgotten about this fellow! This was the very spot where I sealed the head of the Blood Emperor. 0

Chen Moxuan spoke in a low voice, his eyes shimmering with memories. That battle had been exceptionally brutal; it could be said to be the second most difficult fight I had ever experienced alongside my master. I paid a tremendous price to seal his head here. 0

Tiger Brother understood that although Chen Moxuan concealed the existence of the Immortal Emperor, the battles and hardships Chen Moxuan had faced were far more profound and heavy than his own. 0

"Chen Xiaozi, are you really going to release it? After all this time, it should be dead by now," Tiger Brother asked, curiosity and caution flickering in its eyes. 0

"Who knows?" Chen Moxuan replied, his gaze once again fixed on the altar. "It might be dead; it might still be alive. I feel that the latter possibility is greater." 0

"Help me check if there are any signs of anyone approaching nearby." 0
