Even the usually composed Heavenly Dark turned red with anger upon hearing Chen Moxuan's words. As a powerful wielder of Dao, he was now lowering his voice and publicly seeking peace with Chen Moxuan in front of so many people, completely discarding his pride.
But he never expected that even after doing this, Chen Moxuan would show him no mercy and would even dare to step on his face.
This made him furious, and deep down he realized that Chen Moxuan had no intention of shaking hands or making peace. One of them had to die here today!
"Chen Moxuan, you leave me no way out. You will regret this!"
"Dark Fusion!"
The dark clouds that had been scattered by Chen Moxuan began to coalesce again and flew towards Heavenly Dark, merging into his body.
Suddenly, a tremendous transformation occurred within him. Black runes emerged from his body, spreading out along with the dark power to form a ferocious and evil Dark Beast. Heavenly Dark's body was positioned on the back of this Dark Beast, and his head transformed into that of the dark creature.
In essence, Heavenly Dark had become a half-human Dark Beast! This Dark Beast resembled a spider, with eight legs made entirely of dark energy. The Dark Blade formed its teeth!
"Chen Moxuan, you forced me to do this! I will make you pay with your life!"
Heavenly Dark had only recently grasped the power of darkness and was not yet able to fully control the Dark Fusion secret technique. Now, forcing it out would cause permanent damage to his body and cost him ten years of his life. This filled him with immense hatred for Chen Moxuan.
He completely forgot that it was he who had provoked Chen Moxuan first, leading to this confrontation!
Sometimes people are selfish; they only remember others' wrongs while forgetting their own faults. In reality, good and bad are reciprocal; what one sows is often what one reaps.
The onlookers were all frightened by Heavenly Dark's transformation into the Dark Beast.
After Heavenly Dark transformed into Dark Beast, he appeared overwhelmingly sinister and ferocious, completely devoid of any human essence—truly a dark and fearsome creature.
Some of the more timid onlookers began to step back in fear, even deciding not to watch any longer. They were worried that Chen Moxuan might not be able to withstand this transformation of Heavenly Dark into a Dark Beast, fearing that the beast might come for them next.
However, there were also those who were bolder, undeterred by the danger, who moved a little closer. It seemed they wanted to observe the transformation of Heavenly Dark into a Dark Beast more closely. Who was Heavenly Dark really? How could he become a Dark Beast? It was simply unbelievable!
If you ask me how I know, I don’t; this is my first time witnessing such an event. But now that Heavenly Dark has transformed, he no longer resembles a human at all. This Dark Beast is so evil and terrifying!
At first glance, it was clear that Heavenly Dark was no good person. Perhaps he had sold his soul to this Dark Beast, which granted him such formidable power! Now, however, he had been forced by Chen Moxuan to reveal his true form.
I wonder if Chen Moxuan can still defeat this Dark Beast. If not, I feel we should prepare to escape!
“If you want to run, go ahead,” someone said. “I won’t flee; I believe Chen Moxuan can defeat this Dark Beast!”
As they watched Heavenly Dark transform into the Dark Beast, the crowd had two distinct reactions. One group was frightened and ready to flee, while another was extremely excited, eager to see who would emerge victorious in this battle. They could tell that the fight had reached a critical moment.
“Who would have thought you possessed such secret techniques? But do you really think transforming into a Dark Beast will allow you to defeat me?”
“I’ll tell you this: it won’t work! Even as a Dark Beast, you are still no match for me! Let me see if your power has truly increased with this transformation; I hope it can provide me with some entertainment!”
Though Chen Moxuan spoke nonchalantly, he remained cautious of the Dark Beast. The fact that Heavenly Dark resorted to such a powerful technique in a life-or-death situation indicated its potency, and he would not underestimate it.
“Demon Battle Golden Body!”
With that, Chen Moxuan unleashed the Demon Battle Golden Body. A dazzling golden light erupted from his body as he launched himself toward the Dark Beast, initiating his attack.
In response, the Dark Beast radiated a dark glow from its body. This aura coalesced from dark energy, forming a protective shield around the massive creature.
But Chen Moxuan struck with a single punch, and the defensive shield immediately shook, several cracks appearing on its surface. He followed up with a series of punches, and in an instant, the shield composed of dark energy shattered completely. The surrounding onlookers barely had time to react.
Then, Chen Moxuan's fist landed squarely on the Dark Beast. The creature's spider-like claws attempted to block the attack, but they were no match for Chen Moxuan's terrifying strength! With each punch he delivered, wounds opened up on the Dark Beast, causing it to screech in pain.
After transforming into the Dark Beast, the Dark God of Darkness had clearly been affected, becoming frenzied and losing much of its previous intelligence. Faced with Chen Moxuan's relentless assault, it could only passively defend itself, yet even that was insufficient to fully withstand the blows. Soon, numerous wounds appeared on the Dark Beast's body, black blood oozing from them.
Heavenly Dark seemed to be weakening as well. It was as if every injury inflicted on the Dark Beast also harmed him; they were synchronized in their suffering. The pain drove the Dark Beast into a frenzy, causing it to recklessly attack Chen Moxuan despite its own injuries.
However, Chen Moxuan was incredibly agile. Even though the massive beast attacked with speed and strength, not a single drop of sweat from Chen Moxuan was touched. Instead, he seized the opportunity to land several more punches, causing the beast to appear increasingly exhausted.
But this did not mean that the Dark Beast was weak. With the activation of the Demon Battle Golden Body, Chen Moxuan's power had surged to an entirely new level!
