Liu Yuchuan never expected his niece to ask such a foolish question at this time; it seemed she really needed to read more books.

Liu Ru Yan suddenly thought of a lookout wife and wanted to laugh but was shot a glare instead.
Liu Yuchuan had long noticed his niece's strange expression; the moment she showed any sign of amusement, he shot her a warning look.
Liu Ru Yan obediently closed her mouth, though the laughter in her eyes still gave her away. "Uncle, Liu Da, I have to go now; I still have work this afternoon."
With that, she turned and hurriedly left, as if someone were chasing her from behind.
Liu Da was indeed waiting for Liu Yuchuan regarding something related to Wang Yang.
Liu Yuchuan was surprised to hear that name again. Was he still not dealt with? Tang Mu Xuan couldn't handle it either! Liu Yuchuan quickly concluded that someone must be protecting him from above.
"Boss, someone up there is backing him; we really can't touch him," Liu Da said helplessly. The evidence was so solid, yet at the last moment, someone had intervened.

As he thought about the person Liu Da mentioned, he realized that this individual was Jiangnan's father, a well-known politician. Since he had intervened, it was clear that Liu Yuchuan needed to make more plans. With that thought in mind, he picked up his phone and began dialing.
"Hello, long time no see! Are you going to A Yan's place tonight? Did you tell him?"
This call was to Mo Daowan, who felt a bit nauseated by the overly familiar greeting and almost hung up. However, upon hearing the latter part of the message, he chose to selectively forget the earlier words.
"Yeah, I'm going."
Mo Daowan wasn't particularly keen on going either, but since he had been invited, it was fine for him to attend. It would also give him a chance to interact more with Liu Ru Yan, which could be quite pleasant.
He chuckled softly to himself. However, he knew he couldn't let Liu Yuchuan know about this line of thinking; otherwise, he wouldn't be allowed to go.
After hanging up, Liu Yuchuan realized he hadn't asked Mo Daowan why he didn't invite Liu Ru Yan along. They could just talk outside as well. He contemplated whether he should call Mo Daowan back to clarify but decided against it. After all, Lan Ruo Yi was also involved and was on the same level as himself; there wouldn’t be any issues.

He had invested a lot for this person and this case, and it was frustrating that the final step ended with bail. But patience was key; he was playing the long game.
After calming Lin Fengmian, he grabbed his coat and headed out. Lin Fengmian was puzzled about what he was up to at that moment. Then a wave of anxiety hit him—was he really going to confront someone?

The officers and bystanders around them looked on in surprise at this scene. Lin Fengmian had successfully drawn everyone's attention.
