At this moment, none of that mattered. Jiang Chen simply wanted to learn about the Undying Dragon Clan and the Immortal Dragon Seal. He took a seat where he could see the vast ocean outside. After glancing at the view, he turned his attention back and smiled, "Why don't you tell me about the Undying Dragon Clan and the Immortal Dragon Seal? Also, I'm curious why you invited so many people to participate in this game."
Jiang Chen's question was straightforward. Jon Delson, being a senior member of a prominent family, had experienced much in his lifetime. Now, nearing the end of his days, he had little left to fear or hold back. He had already grasped Jiang Chen's strength and, as someone well-versed in Huaxia matters, he found himself intrigued by Jiang Chen. In fact, he even considered bringing Jiang Chen under his wing; it was a natural inclination to appreciate talent.
"You have quite the personality. Before I learn about you, I want to know more about yourself," Delson said, looking at Jiang Chen with a hoarse voice. Despite being confined to a wheelchair and nearing death, he still carried an imposing presence that surpassed many Clan Leaders from Huaxia.
"Alright then, feel free to ask me anything you'd like to know," Jiang Chen replied with a smile. He had come with intentions of his own; the master of this island seemed difficult to deal with. However, it appeared that the island's master was sensible enough to sit down and have a proper conversation with him. On second thought, given Delson's condition, Jiang Chen worried that if he spoke too much, he might suddenly pass away, leaving Jiang Chen to deal with the aftermath.
Although Jiang Chen possessed the ability to extend Delson's life for several more years in good health, it ultimately depended on his mood. If Delson proved satisfactory in their conversation, perhaps Jiang Chen would consider granting him some fortune.
"I want to know why you're searching for the Immortal Dragon Seal," Delson asked directly without beating around the bush. The Immortal Dragon Seal had influenced his entire life; Jiang Chen's interest in it felt like stepping on his tail, making him cautious.
"There are likely many people searching for the Seven Divine Artifacts in this world," Jiang Chen responded. "I happened upon news of the Immortal Dragon Seal by chance and naturally wanted to investigate further. As for its purpose, that's still an unknown."
Jiang Chen's answer was vague yet sufficient; he was willing to respond to Delson's inquiries because of the latter's decent attitude and impending demise. Otherwise, he would have been disinclined to engage.
Delson gazed at Jiang Chen thoughtfully before continuing with another question: "How old are you?"
"Not yet twenty," Jiang Chen replied.
"Not yet twenty?" Delson expressed disbelief.
"I'm telling the truth; there's no reason for you not to believe me. My name is Jiang Chen; you can investigate my identity right now. With your resources, uncovering information about an unknown person like me should be easy," Jiang Chen said with a smile.
Upon hearing this, Jon Delson's lips curled slightly into a faint smile. The more he interacted with Jiang Chen, the more enigmatic he became. Despite having lived so long and encountered countless individuals, he had never met anyone who left him feeling so perplexed—especially not someone so young.
Delson's expression shifted as if he were deep in thought.
"Do you have any other questions?" Jiang Chen asked.
"None," Delson replied. He was perceptive enough to realize that he wouldn't glean any useful information from Jiang Chen and decided not to press further.
