Ronnie was not only a Martial Arts Expert but also an exceptional submarine pilot. As the submarine descended, the light grew dimmer, and inside the vessel, a profound silence enveloped them. Through the screens, they could see the outside world shrouded in darkness, with only the submarine's lights piercing through the murky depths.
The deeper they went, the greater the pressure became. Although everything inside the submarine seemed normal, both the old man and Ronnie could feel the increasing weight of the pressure, tightening their hearts. The old man turned his head to glance at Jiang Chen and noticed his calm demeanor. He couldn't help but lower his voice and say, "Mr. Jiang, let's just take a quick look."
"Can we dive directly to the seabed?" Jiang Chen asked.
"Ah? It should be possible," the old man replied, startled by Jiang Chen's question.
"Then let's dive down and see where the Immortal Dragon Seal is," Jiang Chen said casually.
"We probably won't find it; the Immortal Dragon Seal has surely been taken by the Undying Dragon Clan," the old man quickly responded.
Jiang Chen remained silent.
After about twenty minutes, the submarine suddenly halted.
"We've arrived! We're at a depth of 7,000 meters," Ronnie announced abruptly.
The seabed was still shy of 10,000 meters deep, but Jiang Chen paid it no mind as he focused on the screen, where darkness still prevailed, revealing only a beam of light from the submarine.
Ronnie nervously maneuvered the external probe and saw that they were facing a cliff with jagged rocks—albeit underwater. The submarine slowly moved forward, and the beam of light shifted along with it.
Suddenly, the beam stopped. On the screen appeared a patch of scales—dragon scales to be precise—measuring about a square meter and as dark as black iron.
"Mr. Jiang, do you see that? I wasn't lying; there really is an Undying Dragon Clan down here. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Let's move up while they haven't noticed us!" The old man said anxiously, eager to leave this deep-sea environment.
Jiang Chen was also slightly taken aback; he hadn't expected to encounter a dragon clan. However, more than fear, he felt excitement. After all, this dragon clan was currently suppressed and posed little threat.
"If I could catch a dragon as a mount in the future, that would be quite something," Jiang Chen murmured to himself.
"Mr. Jiang, what did you say?" The old man asked nervously upon hearing Jiang Chen's low voice filled with amusement; his body trembled slightly.
"I said since we're already down here, we might as well take a good look at this Undying Dragon Clan. Let's continue exploring," Jiang Chen replied.
"If we disturb them, we could die here; after all, this is deep in the ocean," the old man expressed his concerns.
"But didn't you say that this Undying Dragon Clan is still being suppressed? What’s there to worry about?" Jiang Chen said dismissively.
"Yes, they are suppressed, but this is still their territory. Plus, I have aquaphobia!" The old man nearly cried out in distress.
"Even if you have aquaphobia, you'll have to endure it. Let's take a look around first; I want to see what this Undying Dragon Clan looks like in its entirety," Jiang Chen insisted.
The old man felt helpless and desolate, realizing that he might not have much time left and could die in this deep sea. Ronnie, on the other hand, didn't have a fear of the deep ocean, but the eerie atmosphere here was unsettling. The Undying Dragon Clan was too intimidating for him to handle, yet he steeled himself and continued to pilot the submarine forward.
As the submarine delved deeper, the full extent of the Undying Dragon Clan gradually revealed itself to Jiang Chen. Along the way, he spotted at least three black dragons encased within the stone walls. They appeared to be fused with the rock, yet the walls were covered in debris from marine life, while the black dragons remained pristine and untouched. It was unclear how many years they had been sleeping at the bottom of the sea; their dragon scales still gleamed brightly, exuding an overwhelming aura.
