When we reached the ground floor, Gao Xiao casually handed me the milk tea. She had picked it up from my favorite place, so I didn't think much of it. Just as I was about to take a sip, Gao Xiao suddenly called out to me, "Wait! It looks like your milk tea seal is leaking a bit."

Ultimately, Liu Ke was sentenced to eight years in prison. During the trial, she stood in the defendant's seat, shouting that she was wronged. She even pointed at us and yelled, "It's all your fault! You pushed me to this point!" Yet in the courtroom, only her own echo responded.
In the end, she was taken away. From my seat in the gallery, I saw Liu Ke's parents. They were dressed very simply, while Liu Ke's younger brother wore designer clothes. When Liu Ke was led away, her mother fainted in court. Her father wore an expression of disappointment and frustration: "We supported your education not for you to take this path! You were doing better than many kids in the village; why couldn't you be satisfied?"
In that moment, I suddenly understood why Liu Ke was so envious of me. It turned out that during her upbringing, she had been exposed to a distorted mindset. In a family that favored sons over daughters, she never received equal love from her parents. She believed other girls should be just like her. Therefore, when she encountered people who were more accomplished or living better lives than hers, her jealousy would only grow.
This was not a character trait that developed overnight. After Liu Ke went to prison, our lives returned to a state of calm.
The three of us became more harmonious. After graduation, we successfully interviewed with the company.
