After we escaped the Misty Forest, we arrived at a place called Puppet Town. Once a tranquil little town, it had now turned into a desolate city.
Everywhere in the town were puppets that resembled humans, but their eyes were hollow and devoid of emotion.
"What happened here?" Allen asked warily.
"This place has been controlled by dark forces using Puppet Magic. Those puppets are being manipulated by them," I explained.
"What should we do?" Allen inquired.
"We must first find out who is controlling these puppets in order to stop them," I replied.
As soon as we entered the town, the puppets launched an attack on us. Their movements were incredibly agile, and they were much stronger than ordinary puppets.
We fought back with all our might, but the puppets seemed endless, continuously pouring toward us until we were gradually surrounded.
A sudden idea struck me.
"Allen! Gather those puppets together!" I shouted.
Understanding my plan, Allen swung his sword to draw the puppets toward the Town Center.
When I reached the Town Center, the puppets had clustered together, densely packed like a black ocean.
Taking a deep breath, I unleashed all the magic power within me and cast an area-wide spell at the puppets.
In an instant, flames engulfed the puppets, turning them to ashes. We finally broke free from their encirclement.
Just when we thought we were safe, a dark sorcerer in a black robe appeared before us.
"It seems your strength is quite impressive; you managed to break my Puppet Magic," the dark sorcerer sneered.
"Who are you?" Allen demanded.
"Me? I am your nightmare," the dark sorcerer replied, waving his staff and unleashing a torrent of dark magic.
We engaged in a fierce battle with the Dark Sorcerer, whose magic was incredibly powerful and his tactics insidious. Gradually, we found ourselves at a disadvantage.
I realized that we needed to change our approach to the fight.
“Alan, distract him! I’ll use my magic,” I shouted.
Alan understood my intent. He brandished his sword, darting around the Dark Sorcerer to draw his attention away.
Taking a deep breath, I began to channel the dark power within me.
I concentrated the dark energy in my hands and unleashed it toward the Dark Sorcerer.
The sorcerer was struck by my formidable dark magic, his body jolting violently. He spat out blood and fell to his knees.
“It’s impossible! How… how could you master dark power?” he exclaimed in disbelief.
“I told you, I am darkness!” I replied coldly, then unleashed another wave of dark magic, completely obliterating the Dark Sorcerer.
After the battle in Puppet Town, we pressed on and arrived at a place known as Sunset Canyon. The terrain was steep and rugged, with monstrous rocks scattered about, and magical beasts roamed freely throughout the year.
As soon as we entered the canyon, we heard deafening roars echoing around us, and the ground began to tremble slightly.
“Be careful, there are magical beasts!” Alan warned cautiously.
Before we could react, a massive Two-Headed Demon Wolf charged out from the valley. Its eyes glowed with a vicious light, and thick drool dripped from its jaws.
“This beast looks tough to handle,” Alan said with a frown.
“Yes, this type of beast is cultivated by dark forces and is much stronger than ordinary magical creatures,” I replied.
The Two-Headed Demon Wolf launched an attack on us with incredible speed and immense strength, forcing us to dodge continuously.
“I’ll draw its attention! You look for an opportunity to strike its weak point!” I shouted.
“Got it!” Alan responded.
I waved my magic wand, casting spells to draw the attention of the Two-Headed Demon Wolf.
Alan stood by, looking for an opportunity to strike at the creature's weak points.
The Two-Headed Demon Wolf was cunning, constantly changing directions in an attempt to evade our attacks. Its defenses were formidable, and the magic we unleashed barely harmed it.
Just as we found ourselves in a predicament, a thought struck me.
"Alan! Aim for its eyes!" I shouted.
Understanding my intent, Alan seized the moment, swinging his sword fiercely at the Two-Headed Demon Wolf's eyes.
The creature howled in pain as its eyes were struck, becoming increasingly frenzied.
"Now's our chance!" I yelled.
I unleashed all the magical energy within me, directing a powerful dark spell at the Two-Headed Demon Wolf.
The wolf was hit by my magic, its body shuddering violently before it collapsed to the ground.
We had finally defeated the Two-Headed Demon Wolf, but it had taken a toll on our stamina.
At last, we arrived at the heart of the dark forces: an ancient castle shrouded in darkness. Inside, an aura of malevolence filled the air, chilling us to the bone and distorting even the atmosphere around us.
