"Is this their stronghold?" Allen asked, worry etched on his face.
"Yes, we must break in," I replied, determination gleaming in my eyes.
We charged into the castle, fighting our way to its deepest depths. Countless dark creatures confronted us, but we defeated them together.
At the heart of the castle, we finally faced the leader of the dark forces. Clad in a black robe and wearing a sinister smile, he radiated a powerful dark energy that made the air around us feel suffocating.
"You've finally arrived," the Dark Force Leader said, his voice dripping with cold disdain.
"We won't let you succeed," Allen shouted, raising his sword. His voice echoed through the vast castle.
"You think you two can stop me?" the Dark Force Leader mocked, his gaze filled with contempt.
"We may not be able to stop you, but I can stop myself," I declared, my voice steady and strong.
I closed my eyes and began to channel the dark power within me. It surged forth as if awakened, and my body emanated a formidable dark glow.
I felt a powerful force flowing through me, but I was not controlled by it; instead, I wielded it with my will. I understood that my fate must be determined by me alone.
Opening my eyes, confidence and resolve shone within them, my gaze sparkling like stars in the night.
"Allen, I need your help," I said, looking at him with trust in my tone.
"Alright!" Alan nodded without hesitation, his gaze becoming more resolute.
Together, we engaged in an earth-shattering battle against the Dark Force Leader. The dark power of the Dark Force Leader was incredibly strong, but he couldn't handle both Alan's and my attacks simultaneously.
We coordinated seamlessly, functioning as a single entity, driving the Dark Force Leader into a corner. Each strike we launched forced him to pause and defend himself.
In the end, the combined assault from Alan and me defeated the Dark Force Leader. His body trembled violently before turning to ash, completely vanishing into thin air.
With the Dark Force Leader's demise, the black vortex in the sky dissipated, and the dark forces receded like a tide, restoring peace to the world once more.
I collapsed onto the ground, gasping for breath, utterly exhausted, yet my heart was filled with joy.
"Are you alright?" Alan approached and helped me up, his eyes filled with concern and affection.
"I'm fine," I shook my head and flashed a radiant smile; my heart felt an unprecedented tranquility.
"We did it!" Alan exclaimed excitedly, gripping my hand tightly.
"Yes, we did," I said as I gazed at the sky, pride swelling within me.
"No, you protected this world," Alan looked at me with gentle admiration in his eyes; his gaze warmed me deeply.
I looked back at Alan, filled with gratitude and love. Once, I had to disguise myself for the sake of duty, but now I could be my true self. I could stand by him as we safeguarded this world together.
"Allen, actually... I... I've been lying to you all along." I looked at Allen, feeling a bit anxious as I couldn't hide my true thoughts.
"I know," Allen replied, smiling at me. His smile was filled with acceptance and understanding.
"You know?" I asked in shock, my heart racing with disbelief.
"Yes, I know you are not the true Dark Witch. I see your kindness, and I understand that everything you've done is to protect this world," Allen said, his eyes full of trust. "I've always believed what my eyes see."
A warm wave surged through my heart, and tears finally spilled from my eyes. I threw myself into Allen's arms, holding him tightly.
"Why don't you hate me?" I choked out, my voice filled with grievance and reluctance.
"Why would I hate you?" Allen looked at me gently and said, "I love you. I love your kindness, your strength, and everything you've done."
My tears fell like pearls from a broken string, cascading down endlessly. I clung to Allen, not wanting to let go; my heart was overflowing with love and emotion.
"I love you too," I managed to say through my sobs. My voice was weak but filled with genuine feeling.
I once thought of myself as just a passerby, destined to return to my original world. But now, I didn't want to leave this place; I didn't want to leave my beloved.
I chose to reconcile with my former self. No longer would I cling to the title of Dark Witch; instead, I would become a true guardian. I would use my power to protect those I love and the world that holds my heart.
