Do not be fooled by the seemingly "exquisite" appearance of the West Sea Dragon Prince; his combat power is undoubtedly above four stars.
In an instant, he shifted his form, deftly dodging the attack from the Longyuan Artifact.
Yu Xiaoman watched as two dragons, one white and one purple, danced around a pearl, swirling and twisting in the air. She couldn't help but murmur to herself, "Why do dragons love to snatch pearls?"
Seizing a moment during the skirmish, the West Sea Dragon Prince flashed her a charming smile. "Little Fish, this isn’t about snatching pearls; it’s called the Dual Dragons Playing with the Pearl."
He deliberately elongated the last syllable of "pearl," sending a shiver down Yu Xiaoman's spine.
Yet out of politeness, she replied earnestly, "So you captured Wandering Heavenly General just to use him for playing with pearls?"
The West Sea Dragon Prince was momentarily taken aback before bursting into laughter. "Yes, yes, that's exactly it—everything from the beginning to the end of the bed scene."
Though Long Yuan wanted to retort with a quip about his head, he keenly sensed that Yu Xiaoman and the West Sea Dragon Prince's banter had successfully diverted their opponent's attention.
So when Yu Xiaoman boldly declared, "Then why don’t you just play with pearls with your father?" Long Yuan seized the opportunity and struck like a ghost, swiftly snatching away the treasure box at the opponent's waist that held Wandering Heavenly.
Yu Xiaoman looked at the West Sea Dragon Prince's expression as if he had been struck by lightning. For a moment, she was utterly bewildered, unsure whether she had said something right or wrong.
Lost in thought, she suddenly saw a golden object flying rapidly toward her. She then heard Long Yuan urgently shout, "Hand this to my sister! Tell her that Wandering Heavenly is inside. Time is of the essence; she must hold onto the box and get married first before going to find Tai Shang Lao Jun to release him."
Seeing this, Yu Xiaoman quickly leaped up, flailing as she tried to catch the box. After finally securing it in her arms, she looked up anxiously and asked, "What about A Yuan?"
"I'll hold him off here, you hurry and go," Long Yuan said loudly, his eyes filled with determination.
Yu Xiaoman furrowed her brows, worry etched on her face. "But A Yuan will be in danger; he's very powerful."
At that moment, the West Sea Dragon Prince finally snapped out of his shock, his face twisted with anger as he shouted, "No one is allowed to leave!" With that, his purple dragon tail struck like lightning towards Yu Xiaoman.
Long Yuan quickly darted to the side, a flash of white light as he positioned himself in front of Yu Xiaoman. "If you don't listen to me, don't expect me to care about you anymore!" he urged anxiously.
Yu Xiaoman felt torn inside; she bit her lip tightly and instinctively took a step back.
If Long Yuan stopped caring about her, she would surely be heartbroken. Yet, she couldn't bear to leave him alone to face danger.
Seeing her hesitation, Long Yuan's heart raced. He unleashed a powerful attack, his immense spiritual energy surging like a tidal wave towards the West Sea Dragon Prince, forcing him back.
Then he turned around and looked deeply at Yu Xiaoman, his gaze filled with trust and hope. "Xiao Man, I'm counting on you."
Hearing him call her name with such affection made Yu Xiaoman's heart race as if struck by a hammer. She managed to say, "A Yuan, I will come back to save you," before clutching the box tightly and turning to run desperately away.
Long Yuan watched her retreating figure, a gentle and affectionate smile spreading across his face.
