"Um, could you let Mia come out to talk to me? I have something to ask her," I said cautiously. 0

Milei grabbed my collar and shouted angrily, "What do you want with my sister at this hour? I knew you had bad intentions..." 0

I brushed off Milei's hand and smiled, "It's nothing urgent; we can talk tomorrow just the same. Brother Milei, it's a bit inconvenient to chat in the dark like this, right? I happen to have some good wine; how about we share a drink?" 0

Milei thumped his chest confidently and said, "Why didn't you say so earlier?" 0

Curiously, I glanced at Milei's chest, wondering what lay beneath that clothing—was it muscle or something softer? 0

When the oil lamp was lit, I saw Milei sitting at the table with one leg propped up on a stool, urging me, "You said you have good wine? Hurry up and bring it!" 0

I pretended to search around the bed and then pulled out a jar of wine from my Qiankun Bag. 0

As soon as I poured a bowl for Milei, he tilted his head back and downed it in one go, shouting in delight. I poured him another bowl. 0

Milei patted my shoulder and said, "You don't look so sneaky now. Not bad... When you become my brother-in-law in the future, you'd better bring plenty of wine to honor your big brother-in-law." 0

I nearly choked on my drink, spraying it all over Milei's face. 0

Wait, he actually wants to marry me into the family? That really caught me off guard. Do I really have that much charm? Even someone like Mia could fall for me? 0

Milei wiped the wine off his face and laughed heartily, "A real man doesn't need to be shy. We're all family sooner or later..." 0

How was I supposed to respond to that? 0

"Um, I'm just staying for one night; I'll be leaving tomorrow," I explained with a wry smile. 0

Milei slammed his hand on the table and said angrily, "You're the first man my sister has brought home in years. You need to take responsibility... If you're like that Chen Shimei guy, I'll make sure to take care of you first..." 0

He rolled up his sleeves and raised his fist as if ready to strike me at any moment if I dared to refuse. 0

I truly found myself at a loss for words, especially facing someone who seemed a bit unhinged. 0

Seeing that I didn't respond, Milei spat and lifted me up. "If you dare to leave, I'll break your legs." 0

Under the threat, I nodded. "Got it." 0

Milei smiled and said, "Now that's more like it. I'll call my sister over soon. You two can have your wedding night tonight, and we'll have the ceremony later..." 0

My jaw nearly dropped in surprise; this was moving way too fast. 0

If she were truly a stunning beauty, I might just accept the situation... but just thinking about it sent chills down my spine. 0

Milei almost finished an entire jar of liquor by herself. As she staggered out, she reminded me to leave the door open. Mia would be coming soon. 0

I didn't take it seriously, thinking it was just drunken talk. But not long after Milei left, Mia shyly pushed the door open and stepped into the room, standing coyly by the entrance. 0

She reeked of alcohol. 0

I cursed under my breath; how could this be happening? Didn't she drink too much? How could she be sober already? 0

"Ling Feng, my brother agreed. I... I'll take care of you now," Mia said with a flirtatious look, sending me sultry glances while her voice was soft and sweet. 0

If she were truly a beauty, I probably would have lost control by now. But that Adam's apple on her neck shattered all my fantasies. 0

When Mia's hand reached for me, I jumped back in alarm, stammering, "Don't come any closer. I... I have a wife..." 0

Mia's hand froze in mid-air, tears welling up in her eyes. "You... you actually have a wife? Then why did you come to tempt me... you..." 0

When did I ever tempt her? 0

"Mia, you're so beautiful; you can definitely find someone better. I'm just a poor loser with nothing..." I tried to explain. 0

Suddenly, Mia's expression turned fierce as she shouted sharply, "You men are all the same! Since I can't have your heart, then you'll stay here with me for life!" 0

As her hands transformed into claws, she lunged at me with an attack as fierce as a leopard pouncing on its prey. The long nails on her fingers glinted with a dark sheen. 0

I dodged this strike just in time, but to my surprise, Mia became even more frenzied. She charged at me again, her speed increasing with each moment. 0

I rarely encountered anyone whose speed could match the Great Shift Technique, yet Mia was an exception. She was as quick as a snake, coiling around me the moment she got close. 0

Despite her madness, Mia's mind was surprisingly clear; every move she made effectively cut off my escape routes. 0

Adding to my predicament, my previous injuries had not yet healed. After a fierce exchange, my stamina began to wane. In a moment of carelessness, Mia seized the opportunity and subdued me, delivering a powerful blow to the back of my head. 0

As my eyes closed, I caught a glimpse of the malice in Mia's gaze. It seemed that a shadow at the doorway was watching everything unfold. 0

When I awoke again, I found myself unable to move my body, except for my head. Looking down, I realized I was trapped inside a large jar. 0

Surrounding me were about ten other jars, each containing only a head. 0

Their hair was short, and although their faces were pale, they appeared well-groomed—clearly someone took care of them regularly. 0

I could hear faint breaths; they were all alive! 0

"Hey there, newcomer! Looks like you’ve got company now," called out the person closest to me in their jar. 0

"What is this place? How did I end up here?" I asked in confusion. 0

The man gave a bitter smile. "Everyone here has been captured by that psychopath..." 0

"Mia?" I replied incredulously. 0

"Who knows what his name is? Once you're caught, it's just a waiting game until you die. Unless he decides to show some mercy and put us out of our misery..." he lamented. 0

"Better to be alive than dead; who knows, maybe a miracle will happen?" I tried to offer some comfort. 0

The man chuckled, "Young man, just wait a while. After you’ve been replenished, if you can still say such things in this jar, then..." 0

He let out a long sigh. 0

"Mia," she said with a sorrowful expression as she pushed the door open, "I don’t want it to be this way. Just promise me you’ll marry me, and I’ll let you out." 0

I felt helpless. What was it about me that could attract her? Couldn’t I just change? 0

"Mia, you’re not my type. I prefer someone petite; you’re too tall for me. I have a brother who likes girls like you. If you let me out, I’ll introduce you to him. How about that?" 0

Mia slapped me across the face. "I want you! I don’t want anyone else!" With that, she ran out crying. 0

The man earlier mocked me again, "Brother, I advise you to just give in to her. There aren’t many like me around; once it’s too late, there’s no going back... It’s just something that happens after the lights go out..." 0

I rolled my eyes. Did I really need to consider this? There was no way I would give my first time to such a creature! 0
