Where is Zhou Zheng? She looked around and noticed that one figure was missing from the crowd. 0

Just moments ago, Wang Ya had rubbed his eyes, and as he turned to the empty tent, he suddenly realized that Zhou Zheng was gone! 0

"Everyone, get ready to move!" Lin Xi stood up and quickly directed the team. "Zhou Zheng's disappearance likely means he discovered something. We need to set off immediately!" 0

"Leader Lin, there are signs of a collapse in the sandy area to the southeast," Chen Rui said after examining the nearby terrain and pointing into the distance. 0

"Let's go check it out." Lin Xi led the team swiftly toward the collapse site, where they found that the sand had completely sunk down, revealing a dark hole. 0

"It seems Zhou Zheng fell in," Lin Xi frowned and said. "Gear up; we need to prepare to go down." 0

Meanwhile, Zhou Zheng had reached the end of the passage, where a massive stone door stood. The door was engraved with intricate symbols that matched the patterns on the crystal ball. 0

He pushed against the stone door but found it immovable. However, as he got closer, his communication device suddenly began to heat up against his chest. 0

What’s wrong with this thing? Zhou Zheng took off the communication device and noticed it was flashing red light, responding to some symbol on the stone door. 0

A few seconds later, the stone door slowly began to open. 0

Behind it was a spacious underground hall, with a larger altar at its center. Floating above the altar was an enormous black crystal ball, several times larger than the one Lin Xi held, emanating an even more bizarre energy fluctuation. 0

Zhou Zheng stared at the crystal ball, feeling an irresistible pull as if it were trying to draw his consciousness into some unknown realm. 0

What exactly is this? he murmured softly, reaching out to touch the crystal ball. 0

Just as his fingertips were about to make contact with its surface, footsteps echoed behind him. 0

"Don't move!" Lin Xi's voice rang out, followed by a hurried command. "Come here quickly!" 0

Zhou Zheng snapped back to reality and withdrew his hand. He turned to see Lin Xi and the other team members rushing into the hall, their faces filled with tension and vigilance. 0

"How did you find me?" Zhou Zheng asked in surprise before breaking into a wry smile. It seemed this place was more complicated than he thought. 0

"Save your breath." Lin Xi's gaze remained fixed on the black crystal ball on the altar, a flicker of caution in her eyes. "This thing might be more dangerous than we imagined." 0

"What should we do then?" Chen Rui asked. "Should we destroy it?" 0

"No," Lin Xi replied firmly. "This crystal ball is likely connected to everything we've encountered so far. We need to take it with us to uncover the real answers." She added cautiously, "But we must be careful; it may have some effect on us." 0

Just as Lin Xi prepared to act, the black crystal ball suddenly emitted a low hum, causing the entire hall to shake violently. 0

"Prepare for battle!" Lin Xi shouted as her team quickly assumed a defensive stance while an even greater threat loomed from the darkness. 0
