I had a bit too much to drink last night and lost track of things. When I woke up this morning, I found myself at home, completely forgetting everything that happened yesterday. So, as soon as I got up today, I came to apologize to you in person. 0

"I'm really sorry," I said. Xu Jiao smiled sweetly, opened the iron door for me, and playfully shot me a glance. "Dong Ge, your drinking capacity is quite impressive. I think I’ll skip drinking with you next time." 0

I chuckled at her response. "Come on, look at me! I'm here to apologize, right? Don't be mad; I'll practice more next time." 0

Xu Jiao laughed again, looking charming as ever. However, in this filthy winery, my appreciation was somewhat diminished. 0

"Come in," she said, turning to lead me into the winery. Once inside, I took a look around. As expected, the factory was just as dirty as I imagined. The wine production equipment was covered in rust, and there were piles of dirty bottles everywhere. A dozen people were bustling about, busy with their work. 0

I remained silent; I genuinely wanted to report this winery! But not just yet—reporting it would only address the symptoms and not the root cause. The only way to truly fix things would be for me to rise to a high position in Tian Ye Group and eliminate counterfeit wine once and for all! 0

I followed Xu Jiao up to the second-floor office. Her office was surprisingly clean, with beige floor tiles, a mahogany desk, and a genuine leather sofa. 0

The account books I needed were undoubtedly in that desk! 0

"Dong Ge," Xu Jiao said as she settled beside me on the sofa, sitting very close. She leaned in slightly while asking me questions, revealing her alluring cleavage. 0

Her implication was clear; she wanted to get straight to the point. In my previous undercover work, I had encountered many people like Xu Jiao. Everyone knows what kind of person they are dealing with; being overly reserved or pretentious in such relationships can be counterproductive and might even make me unhappy enough to cut ties altogether. 0

So she got straight to the point. After some intimate exchanges, our relationship became much closer and easier to navigate. 0

"Well then, what do you think I want to do?" I chuckled while glancing at Xu Jiao's light blue dress without pockets. Her handbag was on the desk; the key to the drawer must be inside it. 0

I just needed an excuse to distract Xu Jiao long enough to grab the key and steal the account book! But what excuse could I use? She clearly wanted something thrilling with me—could I say I didn’t have a condom and ask her to get one? 0

That seemed unrealistic; what if she pulled something out from her desk while she was at it? 0

"Well then, it depends on you, Dong Ge," I thought. 0

Just then, Xu Jiao wrapped her arms around mine, her full chest brushing against my arm. To be honest, as a normal man, I'd have a natural reaction. But I knew how to restrain myself! 0

After all, I had a beautiful and clever girlfriend waiting for me at home. 0

There were plenty of things I wanted to do with Xu Jiao, but I thought it would be more interesting if we had a drink first. 0

I smiled at her and glanced around; there was no alcohol in her office. If I wanted a drink, Xu Jiao would have to go get it—surely that would take at least two minutes? If there really was a key in her bag, two minutes would be more than enough for me. 0

"Drink? Still want to drink?" 0

Xu Jiao looked surprised yet amused by my suggestion; indeed, she thought it best that I avoid alcohol altogether. 0

"Yeah... otherwise I'm just rambling here... just a little bit." 0

I said this with a shy smile directed at Xu Jiao. She giggled genuinely; I could tell it was heartfelt laughter. My demeanor must have been quite amusing. 0

"Alright then, wait here while I go get some wine." 0
Xu Jiao walked out of the office, and I immediately approached her desk and opened her bag. 0

I admit that rummaging through someone else's bag is a bit impolite, but in the life of an undercover agent, what does politeness matter? It's either you die or I die! It's all about whose tricks are deeper, whose acting skills are better, and whose methods are more ruthless! Everything else is irrelevant. 0

However, to my disappointment, when I opened the bag, there were no keys inside! 0

How could this be possible? Xu Jiao had no pockets on her outfit; where else could her keys be? I began searching frantically but found nothing. The drawer of the desk was locked as well. 0

Damn it! 0

I cursed under my breath just as I heard Xu Jiao's footsteps coming back upstairs. 0

This woman moves quickly! I hurried back to the sofa and started thinking about what to do next. 0

Dong Ge, are you getting anxious? I've brought you the wine! 0

Xu Jiao pushed the door open. I glanced over and saw she was holding a bottle of red wine. I said, "Why did you only bring such a small amount? Isn’t that too little?" 0

Huh? 0

Xu Jiao paused for a moment, clearly thinking that one bottle would be more than enough to handle me. 0

Actually, I particularly enjoy seeing women when they’ve had a bit too much to drink. I thought to myself that if Xu Jiao got tipsy, she would surely be quite alluring. 0

I licked my lips and looked at Xu Jiao with a mischievous grin. Without the keys, my only option was to find an excuse to get her drunk so I could take action. As I sized her up, I realized that I had misjudged earlier; she actually did have pockets—just not very noticeable ones. The keys must be in there. 0

Oh really? Well then, wait here; I'll go grab them. 0

Xu Jiao smiled sweetly as she turned and went downstairs again. This time she returned with three more bottles of wine and asked, "Is this enough now?" 0

Yeah, it’s about right, but you should drink a bit more! 0

I continued to play the role of the eager drinker. Xu Jiao flashed a flirtatious smile and said, "I’ll do whatever you say, little troublemaker!" 0

Then we began drinking one cup after another. She took a full glass each time while I only sipped a bit; she knew my tolerance was low and played along perfectly, letting me pour more into her glass. 0

Dong Ge, are we still drinking? If we do, I won’t hold back! 0

Half an hour later, we had polished off one and a half bottles of red wine between us. I had only taken a few sips; most of it was consumed by Xu Jiao. At this point, her face was flushed and the alcohol was kicking in. 0

Isn’t it great to be tipsy? I love it! Keep drinking! 0

I continued encouraging Xu Jiao to drink more, and she didn’t refuse. By the time we finished two bottles, I could tell she was reaching her limit and starting to get hazy. That’s when I began feeling around her body—after all, I was looking for the keys! 0

And there they were! Right in her pocket! 0

Xu Jiao, don’t you have a bed here? I don’t like sofas. 0

Feeling elated after finding the keys, I asked the tipsy Xu Jiao with a grin. It seemed likely that there would be a bedroom nearby; after all, an office on the second floor couldn’t just be filled with storage rooms. If this factory were mine, I'd definitely set up a bedroom for myself to take a nap now and then. 0

Yes, there is one next door. 0

Xu Jiao leaned against me as she mumbled drowsily. She was really quite drunk now. Hearing this made me scoop her up and carry her out of the office into the next room. After placing her on the bed, I casually pocketed the keys. 0

I’ll just go use the restroom; wait for me here! 0

I whispered softly into Xu Jiao's ear, and she responded with a gentle "Hmm," looking quite obedient. After that, I took the keys and stepped out of the bedroom, heading back to the office. 0

Why did I have to take Xu Jiao with me? I was worried that even if she was drunk, her mind would still be clear enough to notice me taking her account book. After all, there were still a dozen employees downstairs. 0

Once I returned to the office, I felt a rush of excitement; I was about to get my hands on that account book! Things were progressing quite smoothly. Holding the keys, I opened the first drawer. 0

No account book. 0

I moved on to the second drawer. 0

Still nothing. 0

Just as I was about to open the third drawer, there was a loud bang! The door was kicked open! 0

What the hell! That bastard! You’re sneaking around behind my back to cheat on me! 0

A furious shout echoed through the room, startling me so much that I dropped the keys onto the floor and stared blankly at the man who had barged in. 0

Where was Xu Jiao? What was she doing? 0

This man looked to be in his thirties, slightly older than Xu Jiao. From his words, I could tell he was here to catch someone in the act! 0

Was he Xu Jiao's husband? 0

I had heard rumors about Xu Jiao being involved with Wang Meng and Li Jian, but I hadn’t heard anything about her having a husband! 0

I pointed towards the next room. Damn it, my mind was a mess! 0

Without a doubt, it seemed that after I entered, one of the employees downstairs must have thought I was having an affair with Xu Jiao and reported it to their boss to come catch us in the act! 0

I needed that account book now! It had to be in the third drawer; after all, she recorded accounts every day and would definitely keep it on her desk for easy access. 0

The next room? Who the hell are you? You think you can just mess with my wife? 0

I had initially hoped this man would go directly next door to confront Xu Jiao. That would give me time to pick up the keys and open the third drawer. But it was clear he was focused on me. 0

What are you talking about? I'm not here for trouble; I'm just visiting. Your wife just went next door; why don’t you check there? 0

I said this helplessly, trying my best to persuade him to go next door. As long as he went over and saw Xu Jiao lying drunkenly on the bed, he would definitely cause a scene for a few minutes. That would be enough time for me to open the drawer and grab the account book! 0

Don’t waste my time! Where is she? Bring her here! 0

The man shouted, and soon employees rushed up from downstairs, some carrying weapons. This is really frustrating! They were coming for me! 0
