There were no direct flights to Jinshan Jiao, so we flew to the Yunnan border and then transferred to reach Jinshan Jiao, taking a total of two days. 0

Upon arriving in Jinshan Jiao, we had only two days left before meeting Tam. The city was chaotic; while it was somewhat manageable in the center, the streets were filled with many people dressed in rags, resembling beggars. 0

Our group found a relatively quiet place to stay in the center of Kuitun City and began to strategize our next steps. 0

“Sixzi, have your men take some money and go gather information about Tam,” I instructed Sixzi. “The plan remains the same: I will handle the negotiations, while you keep an eye on someone important to Tam. If anything goes wrong on my end with Tam, you can bring people to exchange for me.” 0

In such a disordered place like Jinshan Jiao, it would be easy to buy information about influential figures related to Tam. 0

“Understood, Dong Ge,” Sixzi replied promptly, sending his men out to gather intel. 0

The night passed without incident, and the next day, Sixzi’s men returned. They had learned about a casino location and spent the night there, making acquaintances with some local individuals of note. From these connections, they managed to find out about Tam’s son’s whereabouts. 0

“Dong Ge, Tam has three sons: the eldest is Jon, the second is Bill, and the youngest is Kyle. Among them, Tam favors his youngest son Kyle the most. Currently, Kyle is in a mountain area just outside Kuitun City.” 0

Kyle had inherited his father's ruthlessness and penchant for violence. He ran a Gladiatorial Arena just outside Kuitun City. Although it was called an arena, it primarily involved capturing disobedient poppy farmers and forcing them into fights against each other or sometimes against wild beasts. People would come to watch and place bets, allowing him to profit immensely. 0

After hearing this from Sixzi's men, I nodded; such cruelty was expected from a Drug Lord like Tam. 0

Then my men provided details about Tam's other two sons: Jon was in Europe, and Bill had just gone out for leisure. That left only Kyle in Jinshan Jiao. 0

“If Kyle is at his Gladiatorial Arena, you won’t be able to capture him easily,” I remarked. 0

Sixzi's men informed me that Kyle didn’t always stay at the arena; it hosted events every other day with breaks in between. On rest days, Kyle would indulge in debauchery within Kuitun City. 0

Today was an event day; tomorrow I was set to meet Tam on a rest day! 0

“Perfect! Since his Gladiatorial Arena won’t be active today, go check it out and gather information on Kyle’s whereabouts. Tomorrow when I meet with Tam, you must be ready to act on my command within five minutes if needed,” I instructed Sixzi and the others. 0

They acknowledged my orders before Sixzi asked, “Dong Ge, aren’t you going?” 0

“I’m not going,” I replied. “I don’t like witnessing such brutality because there’s nothing I can do to change it.” 0

Sixzi remained silent after that and took all sixteen of his men away from Kuitun City towards Kyle's Gladiatorial Arena to gather information. 0

I stayed alone in Kuitun City until late at night when Sixzi and his team returned. 0

"Hey! Dong Ge, you have no idea how thrilling the Gladiatorial Arena is! It's a shame you didn't go today," Liu Zi said with a laugh as he entered the room. I frowned at his words; I couldn't believe Liu Zi would describe such a scene as thrilling. 0

"Liu Zi, you know what kind of people fight in the Gladiatorial Arena. How can that be thrilling?" I asked, puzzled. 0

Liu Zi was momentarily taken aback by my question before quickly explaining, "No, Dong Ge, today there were no human fights. It was two wolves against a tiger." 0

"Oh." I nodded in understanding; that was a different story. Then I asked Liu Zi how things were going with Kyle. 0

Liu Zi assured me that everything was fine. He had seen Kyle at the Gladiatorial Arena and had even left three of his underlings nearby to keep an eye on Kyle's movements. As soon as Kyle stepped out tomorrow, they would be able to track his location immediately. 0

I responded with a simple "good." I had a special communication device tucked in my pocket; as long as I pressed it, Liu Zi would receive the information right away and begin the capture of Kyle. This was my way of ensuring my own safety—no matter what, I had to secure my position. 0

The next morning, Liu Zi and I went our separate ways. I only brought two of my underlings to meet Tam; too many people would be of no use to me. 0

Tam's location had been provided by Fang Ying; it wasn't far from Kuitun City and was situated on a mountain called He Mu Mountain, where Tam's troops were stationed. I rented a local car and drove to He Mu Mountain, taking only half an hour. 0

As soon as I arrived at the foot of the mountain, someone stopped me. 0

The person rattled off a long string of words in a language I didn't understand, looking quite fierce. 0

"Brother, do you speak Chinese?" 0

I smiled and pulled out a small stack of crisp dollar bills from my pocket, handing them to him. Before coming here, I had exchanged some money; I figured dollars would be more useful than Huaxia currency in this place. 0

"Uh, yeah, a little bit—not much. What do you want?" 0

Seeing the dollars made him smile as he tucked them into his pocket. Many Huaxia people had entered Myanmar over the years, especially around the Jinshan Jiao area, so many locals had Huaxia ancestry and spoke the language. 0

"We're from Huaxia's Tian Ye Gang. A couple of days ago, we spoke with your boss. We're here to discuss business," I said with a smile. 0

The man understood immediately and said, "Oh, so you're here for business? Hey! Search them!" 0

After he shouted, several people came over to search us three. Knowing this was the rule, I let them proceed. To my surprise, they pulled out all our wallets—were they trying to take our money? 0

"Hey! What are you doing? We're here to discuss business! Give us back our wallets!" one of my underlings protested. 0

The man shot him a glare and replied, "What's wrong with discussing business? This is the rule! If you don't want to comply, then take your wallets and get lost!" 0

With that, he handed my bulging wallet back to me. 0

I smiled and said, "Rules? Sure, no problem. Just take the cash, brothers, and return anything that’s of no use to you." 0

I chuckled, thinking this was nothing. Once I finished talking with their boss, we could start moving goods again. Their boss would suffer even more losses; every time they tried to transport goods to Huaxia, they always got stopped at customs! 0

How delightful that would be! 0

"Ha, you’re quite perceptive!" The man grinned with satisfaction and handed back all the cash from his wallet. Although drug trafficking can be lucrative, gatekeepers like him wouldn't be too wealthy. Typically, they were locals who came here to play the lackey, the cheapest of subordinates. The higher-ups wouldn’t share much money with them, so robbing us made them very happy. After returning our wallets, he went off to report back in the mountains. 0

About ten minutes later, the messenger returned and informed us that we could enter the mountains. We were then led into He Mu Mountain. Once inside, I took a look around. 0

Most of the buildings were wooden and quite dilapidated. There were quite a few people living in the mountains; this was what Tam referred to as his "army." As we walked through, I noticed that the soldiers were either fighting or gambling. I even saw a few men ganging up on a woman; it was chaotic. 0

But I couldn’t get involved in any of this. At this moment, meddling would only put me in danger; it would be difficult to eliminate this group. Acting impulsively would yield no results. 0

After about ten minutes, I estimated that there were at least several thousand people here. Tam's men numbered at least ten thousand—ruthless killers without a second thought. 0

No wonder Liu Sen's mercenary group couldn’t handle them. From what I knew, Liu Sen's group wasn’t very large either—only a few thousand men. Although each one was battle-hardened and included special operations forces, these Drug Lords weren’t lacking in combat capability either. They had the advantage on Tam’s turf and geographical disadvantages played a huge role in the demise of my seventy brothers! 0

We stopped in front of the newest and most beautiful wooden house I had seen since entering the mountains. The person leading us said, "Tam General is inside; you can go in." 0

"Okay." 0

I nodded and led my two younger brothers up the steps, pushing open the wooden door with a creak. 0

The scene inside took me by surprise! 0
