This was the first time she had been kidnapped by a gang, and throughout the journey, she overheard the three thugs discussing when they would finally get to drink some soup after their boss took his first bite of meat.
Wu Miaoyuan was completely panicked. She was scared; she had been a special agent, but she wasn’t afraid of death! However, being humiliated at the hands of these ruffians would be worse than death for her. So, she had already prepared to bite down on the poison hidden in her collar to end her life before any humiliation could occur.

Just as Wan Xianghui had lowered his gun to signal that he was about to help untie her, a bullet pierced through his head. The one who fired was Ze Anzhi, who had come to rescue her.
Through pressure from the Gendarmerie and police, along with searches of various hideouts belonging to other gangs, they finally located Wan Xianghui's lair. If it hadn’t been for getting lost, Ze Anzhi would have arrived much sooner. He had just stepped out of the car and drawn his gun when he saw Wu Miaoyuan’s long hair and, from his angle, the extremely lewd expression on Wan Xianghui’s face as he rubbed his hands together, preparing to grab Wu Miaoyuan. That’s when Ze Anzhi fired!
While shooting, he couldn’t help but curse. “Damn you! I didn’t even touch her, and you dare to kidnap her! I didn’t lay a finger on her! How dare you!”
As he walked and shot, his Luger emptied its magazine, but Ze Anzhi’s shooting never stopped.
Wu Miaoyuan smiled, genuinely happy. She felt tall and strong; he didn’t understand romance at all and looked rather brutish. Now, suddenly, he appeared tall and handsome.
“Thank you! Thank you so much! Just when I was about to give up and commit suicide, you showed up!”
Ze Anzhi was taken aback by her sudden affection. Hadn’t this girl always complained about him? How could being kidnapped lead to a change of heart?
Could it be that kidnapping somehow helped their relationship?
Wu Miaoyuan was beautiful; any man would like her. Ze Anzhi was no exception. He was a passive person; even when he took the initiative, it was only before sleeping or after waking up. He sensed that Wu Miaoyuan wasn’t interested in him, so during their time together over the past few days, he treated her with great respect and never slighted her or spoke too much.
Now, with this sudden turn of events, Wu Miaoyuan had taken the initiative; the roles had completely reversed.
Thus, they moved closer together in perfect harmony.
A day later, they appeared affectionately before Boss Dai.
“Peace at last! It’s so good to see you!”
Boss Dai did not reveal Ze Anzhi's real name; he only mentioned the alias in his file. This is the rule: if there is no betrayal, the organization has an obligation to protect him. Even if Wu Miaoyuan was almost on top of Ze Anzhi, Boss Dai would still remain silent.
"Boss Dai, I am looking forward to meeting you as well. After all, you are the one who can make Oni and the Collaborations tremble in fear, Dai Yunong!"
