The President fell into a deep silence after hearing the last words of Thomas Mellon Rockefeller, alongside the Secretary of the Treasury. 0

“Tommy, can you explain your decision?” The President broke the silence, voicing his concerns. “How much did we sacrifice in the last war? What did we gain? The British and French discarded our post-war peace proposals like trash, revealing their arrogance and malice. Europe has never regarded us as allies! Never! Now, with a foreseeable world war on the horizon, why shouldn’t we leverage it to gain the power and status that correspond to our position as the world’s strongest industrial nation? Why should we let those foolish Europeans control everything?” 0

“Tommy, everything you’ve said today will be discussed in depth with the Cabinet. If this is truly going to happen, I don’t want you to take any personal risks.” 0

“No, Uncle, I don’t see it that way. As far as I know, that duke in Northeast China is a young man who speaks eight languages. I just happen to be one of them! So, I plan to reach out to him and negotiate a deal that requires those who purchase from our country—who are already bankrupt or lagging behind in industrial enterprises—to establish themselves in Northeast China instead of Japan. I believe that young duke will agree. I’m quite confident in my persuasive abilities. Additionally, holding German nationality means that if I play my cards right, I could meet with Hitler soon.” 0

Half a month later, President’s special envoy Thomas Rockefeller Mellon met with the envoy of the Greater Japan Empire, Duke Kujou Yuuma, at the Japanese Consulate on Temple Street in Los Angeles City Center for friendly discussions. 0

Upon meeting, they skipped any pleasantries and dove straight into confidential talks. 0

The two men were meeting for the first time in reality. Duke Kujou cautiously inquired about Thomas Mellon Rockefeller, whom he had created and was intimately familiar with. 0

“Duke Kyuutou, do you know whether you are me or you?” 0

Thomas Mellon Rockefeller responded in Spanish, but surprisingly, Kujou Duke replied in Chinese with a Hunan dialect. “Don’t beat around the bush; I’m your Tong Dad. Whenever you’re not around, it’s me controlling things. Feel free to do whatever; I’ll cooperate.” 0

Hearing the Hunan dialect prompted Thomas Mellon Rockefeller to switch to it as well. He understood that since Kujou was under system control, he must be aware that there were eavesdroppers in the room. Thus, he responded in Hunan dialect: “When I’m not around, it’s always you controlling things. So does that mean…” 0

“I know what you mean; at night I'm always disconnected. That Xiao Zhao of yours? I haven’t touched her!” 0

“Oh well then, let’s return to normal communication.” 0

From that point on, personnel from the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs began eavesdropping on their conversation as Your Grace and the U.S. Presidential Envoy switched between eight languages rapidly. 0

They changed languages almost every minute, with no transitions between sentences; they simply switched to another language seamlessly. 0

The foreign ministry spies exchanged bewildered glances; they were elites from the Foreign Ministry and at least specialists in three or four languages. Yet after just a few minutes of listening, they were completely lost. 0

An hour later, both men handed over written documents to their respective aides. 0

Two telegrams were sent—one to the Imperial Palace in Japan and another to Washington D.C. 0
