As soon as Kuiradi stepped into the house, he bellowed with his rough voice, the sound like thunder, causing everyone present to wince in pain.
"Where's the Lord? I'm back!" he shouted, striding further inside.
Seeing this, a servant hurriedly approached with a beaming smile and said, "Lord Kuiradi, could you please lower your voice? The Lord is having a meal inside. Would you mind waiting a moment?"
At that moment, John was seated at the dining table enjoying a delicious meal with Annie. Suddenly, a thunderous roar echoed through the room, startling Annie so much that she nearly dropped her spoon.
John knew exactly who the shout came from. He shook his head helplessly, gently dabbed his mouth with a napkin, and stood up as the servants waved their hands to signal for them to clear the dishes.
"Annie, take your time eating. I’ll go see what this fool is up to," John said before making his way toward the door.
As he stepped out of the dining room, he immediately spotted the comical figure of Kuiradi standing at the entrance, asking the servants for something.
Kuiradi scratched his head and grinned widely. "The Lord is still dining? Then I’ll just wait here. By the way, do you have any water? I’m dying of thirst!"
Looking at Kuiradi's antics made John chuckle. He replied, "Alright, don’t just ask for water; bring him a jug of wine. This guy always does this—he’s an absolute drunkard. Though this time he didn’t ask for wine right away; that’s a bit of progress, but still not enough!"
"My Lord!" Kuiradi exclaimed as he hurried over with a Magic Wolf in hand. "Look at this Magic Wolf I caught! Hahaha, I really got it this time."
"Oh." John examined the Magic Wolf in Kuiradi's hands. It was quite large; he hadn’t seen such a complete one even at Redman’s place.
These two Magic Wolves were impressively large, rivaling even the mightiest tiger. Their bodies were adorned with mysterious black patterns that shimmered faintly. When Kuiradi opened its massive jaws, one could see fangs over ten centimeters long—sharp and glistening coldly, as if they could easily tear through anything.
"Not bad! You finally didn’t come back empty-handed this time. Remember to extract the heart later; I need it for Alchemy," John said, excitement flickering in his eyes.
"Don't worry, my Lord! You can trust me completely," Kuiradi assured while patting his sturdy chest. "Oh right, my Lord, what did you call me here for?"
With that question from Kuiradi, John suddenly recalled why he had summoned him and quickly explained.
"You’ve been wandering around outside for some time now. Have you found any suitable places nearby for training? Although our Militia's training results are somewhat acceptable so far, they still need real combat experience to truly grow."
After hearing this, Kuiradi pondered for a moment before responding.
"Hey, my Lord, you won’t believe it—I actually found a suitable place! Just to the west of where we are now, there’s a valley that hides a Robber Den. However, I’m not sure if it meets your requirements."
Upon hearing this, John's interest was piqued.
"Oh? How many people are there in that Robber Den? What’s their strength like?"
With a sense of confidence, Kuiradi had done his homework.
"Rest assured, my lord, I have already scouted the area. There are only about forty people there, and from what I can tell, they probably don't even know what 'Transcendent' means. They're just a bunch of desperate exiles haphazardly gathered in a camp."
John was not planning to give up on this place.
"Alright then, keep an eye on them. In a couple of days, I'll bring my men over."
"Don't worry, boss. I'll take my men to stay near that Robber Den. These guys won't escape. Should I check if there are any other places nearby?"
Kuiradi felt he had to prove himself.
"Go ahead. You are my trusted aide; I can rely on you." John wore a satisfied expression, as if to say he couldn't trust anyone else but Kuiradi.
"Understood." Without looking back, Kuiradi left the castle to keep watch over the bandits, determined not to let John's trust go to waste.
John watched Kuiradi walk away and gently clapped his hands. Johnny hurried over.
"Go get my personal guard number five, Six. Also, send number one to follow Kuiradi. We can't afford for him to get into trouble."
"Yes, my lord. You're truly considerate. Should I inform Lord Kuiradi?"
Johnny felt warmth in his heart; his lord really cared for his people.
"Just follow him discreetly."
John Ke wasn't entirely confident in this fool and decided to add another layer of security.
In the basement, music began to play, accompanied by quick and cheerful dance steps and male voices singing.
If you can't beat them, join them. John found himself surprisingly adept at these lively dances and felt he could easily transition into a dance singer; perhaps in his past life, he could have been a trainee idol.
As the dance concluded, John straightened two bowls of dark potion and handed them to the two personal guards who had been waiting outside the basement for quite some time.
Howl!
Accompanied by two wolf howls, Half-Step Transcendent werewolves joined the Bloodline Knights.
