John widened his eyes, staring incredulously at the item in his hand, mumbling under his breath. He clearly remembered the previous messenger swearing that this item had absolutely no side effects, but it seemed like nothing more than a misleading headline!
Looking at it himself, although this thing was a bit of a scam, he could still continue training with it. He just didn’t know how far he could actually progress. Thinking of this, John couldn’t help but shake his head.
If he hadn’t been cautious earlier and hadn’t foolishly drunk it down right away, he would have been in big trouble if something went wrong.
In that case, he might as well give this thing to Kuiradi. Just thinking about Kuiradi made John’s lips curl up slightly; that guy only knew how to fight and kill all day long, making this so-called divine medicine a perfect match for him.
John shouted at the top of his lungs: “Kuiradi, get your ass in here!”
Before long, a sturdy figure with a large head pushed aside the tent flap and rushed in. Due to his speed, his big head was the first to enter the tent.
“What’s up, boss?” Kuiradi asked while panting heavily. With his arrival came a strong stench that wafted into the tent.
My goodness! Can’t you clean up your personal hygiene a bit?
John was overwhelmed by the foul odor and quickly covered his nose with his hand.
Kuiradi, however, seemed unconcerned; he chuckled and lifted his thick arm to sniff under his nose.
“Really? Boss, I didn’t notice at all; I’ve been busy traveling all day.” After saying this, he scratched his head with his hand.
John looked at the guy in front of him with exasperation as he continued scratching his head as if countless little bugs were biting him. He shook his head helplessly and pointed at a bottle of potion on the table.
“Stop scratching! Look at all that grease in your hair; hurry up and drink this.” John said with a frown.
Upon hearing John’s words, Kuiradi didn’t ask any further questions; he quickly stepped forward and grabbed the potion from the table. Without hesitation, he bit down hard on the bottle cap and unceremoniously poured the entire contents into his mouth in one go, completing the action seamlessly.
Seeing this scene, John couldn't help but feel a bit surprised and asked, "Hey, why aren't you asking what this is? Aren't you afraid it might be poison?"
Kuiradi, however, casually patted his belly and revealed a hearty smile as he slowly replied, "Hehe, my lord, you would never harm me! Besides, I've never done anything to make you angry."
Upon hearing Kuiradi's innocent response, John was momentarily taken aback before bursting into laughter. He couldn't help but think to himself how truly loyal Kuiradi was; having someone like him around was incredibly reassuring.
After the laughter subsided, John composed himself and spoke seriously to Kuiradi.
