In a moment of helplessness, Yun Xiao Yi clutched his smartphone, staring at the newly opened game interface as it struggled to load. He couldn't help but let out a heavy sigh. The ultimate gaming experience had always been about participating with friends. 0

He recalled the first time he encountered Minecraft, inviting one or two friends to set up a local network, launching hordes of zombies, and spending countless unforgettable days in that virtual world. The game still existed, filled with an array of dazzling options, but the friends he once shared those moments with were no longer easily reachable. 0

He understood that everyone was busy—some immersed in their careers, others tending to their families—leaving little room for leisurely gaming. Perhaps it was time to put this game down and stop playing altogether. 0

Just as this thought crossed his mind, a flash of lightning split the clear sky, followed by a strange ball of electric energy that burst through the window and struck Yun Xiao Yi, who was sitting at his computer. 0

"Have I offended some heavenly rule to be struck by lightning in my own home?" 0

In the midst of towering mountains, lush greenery surrounded him. The ancient Lin Mu tree stood tall and strong, its branches robust and seemingly centuries old. 0

What on earth? How did I suddenly end up in a place like this? 0

As Yun Xiao Yi gradually regained consciousness, the scene before him sent chills through his bones: the grass around him was taller than he was. While he had mentally prepared himself for the idea of being transported to another world, waking up in an unknown forest was hardly reassuring; it felt like a grim announcement that his time was running out. 0

Though he had some understanding of survival skills from experts like Heiko Deckerwitz, a host of German adventure programs, for someone like him who had never practiced these theories firsthand, surviving in such wilderness seemed nearly impossible. 0

Moreover, this jungle was fraught with danger—not only were there various hidden venomous snakes lurking about, ready to strike at any moment, but even his frail physique would be nothing more than a delicacy for the wild animals. 0

"Ruler," he called out, "if you can hear me, please give me a chance to communicate!" 0

Yun Xiao Yi shouted into the air, his voice filled with longing. Yet, the only response he received was the rustling sound of leaves brushing against each other. Was this really a joke? With the wave of adventures sweeping through, had it not yet come time for him to take his turn? 0

He wasn't in a hurry to experience all of this right now. He could wait; as long as his opportunity came eventually, it was fine to delay a little longer. 0

Then, a vague yet distinct grunting sound echoed from deep within the jungle. People often said that pigs were stronger than tigers, and tigers were weaker than pigs. In this initial jungle environment, facing a fierce and robust wild boar was indeed a nightmare. Even ordinary wild dogs could send him into a panic, let alone a group of such aggressive beasts. 0

Yun Xiao Yi swallowed hard, his hands trembling with sweat as he fixed his gaze on the nearby trees, contemplating whether he needed to use them for cover from pursuit. Life often took unexpected turns. Just as he was pacing back and forth, struggling to make a decision, movement caught his eye in the dense thicket nearby—a massive boar with thick, dark bristles silently stepped into view. 0

Fortunately, it seemed to be a solitary wild boar; he wouldn't have to deal with multiple threats at once. However, even so, the creature's upward-curving yellow tusks and its sturdy frame were intimidating. This moment undoubtedly marked one of the closest encounters with despair in his life. 0

For an ordinary person who had never attempted to slaughter livestock before, facing such a large wild boar with nothing but bare hands was an overwhelming challenge. Should he run? The thought flickered briefly in his mind. But after being immersed in numerous adventure tales set on deserted islands, Yun Xiao Yi understood clearly that turning your back on an enemy often posed the greatest danger. 0

Fighting back might be his only choice. 0

This is outrageous! I will not rest until you are dead! 0

His eyes locked onto the wild boar like a vicious dog, every hair on his body standing on end from tension. He dared not relax for even a second. 0

Then, the wild boar began its characteristic preparation stance, digging its hind legs into the dirt. 0

With a low growl, the wild boar charged forward with lightning speed, executing the classic technique of Beast Realm: Brutal Charge. 0

It was nearly impossible for a human to contend with such a wild beast using only their physical strength, so alternative means had to be found as weapons. 0

Yun Xiao Yi scanned his surroundings and spotted a fallen stick not far away, hope igniting in his heart. Without hesitation, he grabbed the stick and swung it hard at the rapidly approaching wild boar, though deep down he didn't hold much hope of actually repelling it. After all, the boar had incredibly tough skin; such a strike might not even register as a minor annoyance. 0

Then something unexpected happened. The moment the stick made contact with the wild boar, it miraculously staggered back several meters. 0

What’s going on? Am I really that strong? 0

He quickly realized what had happened. 0

This must be some sort of cheat! Ha! I knew it; how could I traverse here without some kind of advantage? 0

Wild Boar, you’re done for! 0

Yun Xiao Yi gripped the stick tightly, filled with confidence and bravado. 0

Meanwhile, the most bewildered one was still that wild boar. 0
