Under the relentless assault from Liang Tian, Xiao Zhan, and the Chen Family, Qin Batian's commercial empire teetered on the brink of collapse. He watched as his enterprises crumbled like a house of cards, his resentment swelling within him like an unstoppable tide. In this desperate situation, Qin Batian resolved to make one last stand, fully aware that if he could not turn the tide, he would face utter disgrace. He thought to himself that this must not happen; he had to stop it at all costs. He needed a foolproof plan.
Secretly, Qin Batian contacted a group of ruthless assassins known for their brutal methods and unscrupulous tactics in the Underworld. He spared no expense in hiring them to deal with Liang Tian and Xiao Zhan, hoping that these merciless killers could eliminate his two most formidable threats and reverse his fortunes.
Upon receiving their orders, the assassins swiftly sprang into action. They meticulously tracked Liang Tian and Xiao Zhan's movements and devised a detailed assassination plan. One night, as Liang Tian prepared to return to his rented apartment as usual, he walked into a dimly lit alley where several dark figures suddenly emerged from the shadows, surrounding him completely. Clad in black and masked, the assassins brandished glinting daggers that sent chills down his spine.
However, Liang Tian's keen perception from the celestial realm allowed him to sense danger before the assassins closed in. Maintaining an outward calm, he secretly activated his Spiritual Energy, readying himself for confrontation. The moment the assassins launched their attack, Liang Tian vanished like a wraith, evading their deadly strike. In quick succession, he unleashed exquisite celestial techniques; waves of spiritual power transformed into invisible forces that surged toward the assassins. Caught off guard by Liang Tian's swift response and formidable strength, the attackers faltered.
Meanwhile, Xiao Zhan faced a similar onslaught from assassins. While discussing matters with his subordinates on his turf, the glass of a window shattered as several killers crashed through. Unfazed by the intrusion, Xiao Zhan grabbed a nearby iron rod and engaged in close combat with them. Having navigated the treacherous Underworld for years, Xiao Zhan was agile and powerful; each swing of his iron rod cut through the air with a fierce whoosh that deterred the assassins from approaching carelessly.
On Liang Tian's side, he quickly subdued the attackers surrounding him. Grabbing one of them by the collar, he coldly demanded, "Who sent you?" Initially defiant and unwilling to reveal their employer, the assassin eventually confessed under Liang Tian's overwhelming intimidation that it was Qin Batian who had hired them to eliminate both Liang Tian and Xiao Zhan.
Furious upon learning that Qin Batian was behind the assassination attempt, Liang Tian immediately contacted Xiao Zhan and discovered that he too had successfully repelled his attackers. The two resolved not to give Qin Batian any breathing room; they would accelerate their counteroffensive and make him pay dearly for his actions.
Meanwhile, upon hearing that the assassination had failed miserably, Qin Batian was livid with rage. He had never anticipated that Liang Tian and Xiao Zhan would prove so difficult to handle; even his meticulously planned ambush had fallen short. However, with limited options left at his disposal, he could only continue devising ways to counteract Liang Tian and Xiao Zhan's increasingly fierce assaults in a desperate attempt to salvage his crumbling empire. Unbeknownst to him, an even greater crisis loomed as Liang Tian and Xiao Zhan's wrath surged toward him; his struggles appeared increasingly futile against their resolute retaliation.
