The night was as dark as ink, thick and impenetrable. 0

The park lay in silence, resembling a vast grave. 0

Only the beams of the patrol flashlight flickered like ghostly eyes, scanning the surroundings intermittently. 0

I hid in the shadows, a bone-chilling cold wrapping around me. 0

Guo Weifeng was right beside me, his fists clenched tightly, knuckles turning white. 0

“There’s a safe in Wang Qiang’s office.” 0

“It contains evidence of their dealings with Foreign Forces.” 0

“As long as we get it, they’re finished.” 0

His gaze was sharp, as if it could pierce through the darkness. He detailed the plan. 0

The location of the safe, security measures, and the patterns of personnel movement—all were under his control. 0

“But that place is heavily guarded,” I said, my brow furrowed. 0

“There are not only security personnel but also a Magical Barrier.” 0

“How do we get in?” 0

He glanced at me, a glint of madness flashing in his eyes. 0

“I have a way to crack the safe.” 0

“But I need you to create a distraction to draw their attention away.” 0

“I’ve gathered some Special Tools beforehand.” 0

"As long as I can get close, I'm confident I can open it." 0

"Alright, let's do it." 0

I agreed without hesitation. 0

A raging hatred burned within me. 0

This hatred was not only directed at Wang Qiang but also at this twisted world. 0

The night grew deeper. 0

Guo Weifeng vanished into the darkness like a ghost. 0

I stealthily made my way toward the Fraud Work Area. 0

The cold wind blew past, carrying a hint of damp mildew. 0

I looked up at the towering walls. 0

They loomed like a giant beast, imprisoning the entire Park within its belly. 0

I pushed open the cold metal door of the work area. 0

A wave of nauseating malice hit me. 0

This place held the despair of countless innocents. 0

It was also soaked in the revelry of the guilty. 0

The room was filled with computer equipment. 0

The walls were plastered with various scam scripts and victim information. 0

The air was thick with tension and greed. 0

I took a deep breath and pressed my hands against the computer server. 0

Grudge surged into my consciousness like molten lava. 0

I knew that with every ounce of Grudge I injected, it was a tremendous drain on my Spirit. 0

I focused all my energy, channeling the Grudge into the electronic signals. 0

The system emitted a piercing hum. 0

Each disruption felt like a battle. 0

The screen began to warp, garbled text flickering wildly. 0

"What the hell! What's going on?" 0

Panic-stricken shouts echoed from afar. 0

The fraudsters sprang from their seats, frantically trying to fix the system. 0

But the situation only worsened. 0

Fear was etched on their faces. 0

"What the hell! The system is completely down!" 0

A man shouted, his voice trembling. 0

My Spirit was gradually weakening. 0

The Grudge was being consumed at an alarming rate. 0

Each disturbance tormented me deeply. 0

The system erupted with a piercing electric sound, like a wail from hell. 0

The entire area descended into chaos. 0

Taking advantage of the fleeing scammers, I quickly moved to the victims' confinement zone. 0

It was even colder here than in the work area. 0

The iron door was rusted, and the air was thick with the scent of blood. 0

I extended my hand, materializing Grudge. 0

With it, I wove terrifying illusions. 0

But this time, creating the illusions proved exceptionally difficult. 0

The iron door emitted a shrill metallic distortion. 0

Sticky, crimson handprints appeared on the walls. 0

The air echoed with anguished cries. 0

The victims huddled together in fear. 0

I knew that although these illusions were brutal, they were the key to breaking free from the cage. 0

With my last ounce of strength, I opened a hidden passage. 0

People stared blankly at the road to freedom. 0

Until one person took the first step forward. 0

Others surged toward the exit like a tide. 0

"Run! Run fast!" 0

Someone shouted, igniting a spark of hope. 0

At that moment, a piercing alarm shattered the night. 0

My heart sank. 0

"Oh no, we've been discovered!" 0

I quickly turned and headed to the rendezvous point I had arranged with Guo Weifeng. 0

He stood there, gripping a thick folder tightly in his hands. 0

"I got the documents, but the enemy has also found us." 0

His voice was low and resolute. 0

"Let's go!" 0

We sprinted toward the park. 0

The enemy was hot on our heels. 0

Gunshots, the growls of police dogs, and continuous shouts filled the air. 0

It nearly drowned out my hearing. 0

"They're catching up! What do we do?" 0

My voice was hoarse. 0

He grabbed my arm and pulled me into an abandoned alley. 0

"Follow me!" 0

The path was narrow and dark. 0

We ran wildly, diving into a deserted passage. 0

Inside, it was pitch black. 0

Only the sound of our heavy breathing filled the silence. 0

"Shh." 0

He made a gesture for silence. 0

I held my breath. 0

Outside, hurried footsteps echoed. 0

They were searching nearby, lingering around our hiding place. 0

Time seemed to stand still. 0

My heart raced violently. 0

Finally, the footsteps began to fade away. 0

We let out a sigh of relief. 0

"What do we do next?" I asked, my voice filled with anxiety. 0

"The documents have been obtained, but the guards here are too strict; we can't get out at all." 0

He frowned and pondered for a moment. 0

"I noticed an abandoned factory earlier." 0

"There’s a hidden drainage pipe there that might lead us outside." 0

"But that pipe has been neglected for years, and there could be many dangers." 0

"Moreover, we must reach there before the enemy redeploys their blockade." 0

I nodded without hesitation. 0

"No matter how dangerous it is, we have to try." 0

"We can't let this evidence be destroyed, and we can't let them get away with it." 0

We cautiously made our way along the deserted path. 0

Moonlight spilled onto the ground, casting mottled shadows. 0

We arrived at the abandoned factory. 0

The entrance to the drainage pipe was concealed behind a pile of debris. 0

A pungent stench filled the air around us. 0

He leaned in first to check, and after confirming it was safe, he signaled for me to follow. 0

The inside of the pipe was dark and damp. 0

Moss crawled up the walls. 0

The water reached up to our knees. 0

We struggled to move through the pipeline. 0

Suddenly, a noise came from behind us. 0

"Be careful, someone might be chasing us," he whispered. 0

We quickened our pace. 0

But soon, footsteps echoed ahead as well. 0

It seemed the enemy was already prepared. 0

"What should we do?" I asked anxiously. 0

"We'll fight them!" 0

"I'll handle the ones in front; you keep an eye on the back." 0

He drew a dagger from his waist. 0

I concentrated the last bit of my Grudge and created a terrifying illusion behind us. 0

Countless Pale Hands emerged from the murky water, accompanied by chilling Ghostly Wails. 0

The enemies pursuing us were thrown into a panic. 0

Taking advantage of this moment, he charged at the foes ahead. 0

The dagger glimmered with a cold light in the darkness. 0

I struggled to maintain my weak Spirit, constantly upholding the illusion. 0

After a fierce battle, he dealt with the enemies ahead. 0

We continued to run forward. 0

Finally, we saw the light at the end of the drainage pipe. 0

We crawled out of the pipe and emerged into the wilderness outside the Park. 0

"Ha, we're safe for now," he gasped, exhaustion etched on his face. 0

We dared not linger and quickly made our way to the rendezvous point with the police. 0

Along the way, I continuously restored my Grudge Power. 0

At last, we successfully met with the police and handed over the evidence to them. 0
