As night fell over Shanghai, the vibrant city glowed with neon lights, and its bustling streets exuded a modern atmosphere. In a warm restaurant, a heartfelt gathering was unfolding.
Xiao Ting wore a light blue loose-fitting maternity dress, gently stroking her slightly rounded belly with a blissful smile on her face. She spoke first: "I'm so glad everyone could come to Shanghai; my heart feels warm. The baby has been quite playful lately, kicking me often—probably excited to meet everyone."
Song Ying wore a simple knitted top paired with dark straight-leg pants, exuding elegance. She smiled back: "You're now my protected one; I definitely have to take care of you. Plus, I'm planning to look for houses near Lin Dongzhe's place so we can support each other."
Lin Xiao Yu dazzled in a stylish black dress adorned with shimmering sequins, her hair elegantly pinned up. With sparkling eyes, she shared: "This competition was so thrilling! I was so nervous before it started that my palms were sweaty and my heart felt like it would leap out of my chest. But once I stood on the field, I thought about not letting everyone down and all my hard work."
Lu Zean looked dashing in a well-fitted dark suit with his tie neatly knotted. With pride and affection, he added: "Watching her compete was nerve-wracking for me too! Especially when she attempted those difficult moves—I held my breath in suspense. Thankfully, she completed everything smoothly."
Curious, Xiao Ting asked: "So how did it end?"
