In the dead of night, the commotion was unbearable. After snapping at the security guard, Shi Tian turned and approached him directly. "I need some mineral water bottles for fishing tomorrow. Do you have any? Can you help me find some?" 0

It didn’t matter whether the security guard recognized him or not; after all, no one living in the hotel or the neighborhood was ordinary. The guards had to treat everyone with caution. 0

As Shi Tian got closer, the guard finally saw his face. "Mr. Shi! It's you! You need mineral water bottles? We have plenty in the hotel! How many do you need? I can have someone deliver them to your home!" Although Shi Tian had been around for a while, he rarely visited the front desk, yet everyone in the hotel knew who he was. 0

They worked in high-end service, and knowing every guest's information was a fundamental skill. Since the night Shi Tian arrived, every staff member had learned his basic information. Anyone who could be personally received by Shi Ye certainly deserved special attention! 0

"I only need plastic and metal bottles—no aluminum cans! And if you have any scrap wood, send me a few pounds of that too. Just a little of everything will do; it doesn’t have to be much!" With someone willing to deliver, Shi Tian wasn’t going to be polite. 0

The aluminum in drink cans was lead-free, so it wouldn’t work for Lead Skin. He only needed materials like gold and wood; water, fire, and earth were unnecessary. Last night, while trying to make Fish Hooks, he hadn’t found any scrap metal and had instead taken a hammer from the Storage Room and tossed it into the Fishing Box, creating numerous Fish Hooks. 0

The iron in the Fishing Box didn’t really need replenishing either; a hammer weighed at least half a pound, which would be enough for him if he made all those Fish Hooks. 0

Despite the vast forest cover here, there wasn’t much wood that could be taken. Just a couple of days ago, the trees and lawn in the yard had been trimmed, so breaking off even a twig would damage those ornamental trees! 0

After sending off the security guard, Shi Tian hurried back to his villa. Minutes had already passed; his Noodle Rod should have been ready by now, and he was eager to see it. 0

Upon arriving at the villa, he rinsed off the mineral water bottles he had fished out of the trash and rushed to his bedroom. He tossed the bottles into the Fishing Box before taking out the newly crafted two-point-seven-meter Noodle Rod for inspection. 0

The weight of the two-point-seven-meter Rod wasn’t as crucial anymore. He pulled it out and held it up straight; it remained perfectly aligned without any bends as he rotated it—this Rod was quite impressive! 0

Holding it in his hands felt significantly better than Shi Ye’s Rod. The grip had a layer of non-slip material that wasn’t plastic or rubber; he couldn’t tell what new material it was made from but it felt cool to touch—at least his palms wouldn’t sweat. 0

After studying it for a while, Shi Tian was very satisfied with this Rod. Clearly, it was far superior to those cheap ten-dollar rods sold in the city and even better than Shi Ye’s Rod. 0

He stored the Fishing Rod back into the Fishing Box he had obtained from Shi Ye and headed downstairs with a case of beer and another case of drinks to meet the security guard who would be delivering the mineral water bottles. Asking someone for help at such an hour deserved some respect in return. 0

After thanking the guard, he quickly tossed the delivered materials into the Fishing Box and opened up the menu—he could start crafting Fishing Gear again! 0

A seven-point-two hard-action Chang Gan rod, a Mi Si action rod, plus several Line Setups were on his list. 0

"This Fishing Box isn’t very user-friendly! Why can’t I craft Finished Line Sets? Not even Finished Line Sets? Even Pin Gou would be fine!" After completing his Rod, Shi Tian looked at the chaotic options for fishing lines and couldn’t help but complain. 0

Before he could finish speaking, a notification popped up on his phone: "Unlocked Finished Line Set for 200 Points; additionally unlocked Pin Gou!" 0

Seeing this notification left Shi Tian speechless. Was someone watching him through this phone? Surely artificial intelligence couldn’t be that smart! 0

It seemed that this Rogue Software had special privileges regarding Fish Hooks; crafting Fish Hooks didn’t consume Points either, nor did unlocking Pin Gou require Points. Was it because Fish Hooks earned Points? 0

With 200 Points available, he could craft a Fishing Rod above Mi Si quality! However, to save time on tying Line Setups, Shi Tian thought these Points were worth spending—after all, he could always spend a few hours catching Bai Tiao another day! 0

Unlocking the Finished Line Set, I first equipped each rod with two sets of lines before exploring other things. By the time it was late into the night, I suddenly felt that being a chef might not be the best choice for making money. The fishing rods I had crafted tonight were clearly of much better quality than those of Shi Ye and his crew. 0

Their rods were worth thousands each, and if I had enough points, selling fishing gear would definitely be more profitable than being a chef! To earn more points, it seemed I needed to distribute fish hooks everywhere. Relying solely on myself, no matter how good the fishing conditions were, I could only earn a few hundred points a day! But if a hundred people used my fish hooks, I could easily make over a thousand points in a day! 0

No way! I needed to make a thousand or eight hundred sets of fish hooks to carry with me and give them out whenever I met a fisherman. I refused to believe I couldn’t distribute them! 0

However, before that, I should buy some plastic pellets and lead weights online. It wouldn’t hurt to get some iron and wood blocks as well. Relying solely on collecting plastic bottles to make fishing rods was clearly unrealistic! 0

Why would plastic bottles be used to make fishing rods? It took me quite a while to figure it out. The carbon fabric used in making fishing rods is derived from plastic carbon that is processed into graphite. No wonder so much plastic is needed for crafting fishing rods! 0

The next morning, after breakfast, a minivan pulled up at the front gate. Today, Shi Ye and Air Force were taking the old man and his Sanya out for a few days of fun. 0

Just as I was about to squeeze into the back seat, Shi Ye came down from the front and yanked me out of the car. "You’re driving; you’re the lightest here! If you don’t drive, who will?" 0

Hearing this made my head spin! They promised to take me out for fun, but instead, they dragged me along to do hard labor as the driver. 0

With my head hanging low, I got into the car. Before I could even start the engine, Air Force in the back seat spoke up: "Where’s your fishing gear? You can’t take the old man out without it!" 0

Great! I had no choice but to hurry back and grab the fishing box, stuffing it into the trunk. 0

Our first stop was the Great Eastern Sea. Under Shi Ye's guidance, I drove to a small pier where we dropped off three people who seemed eager to get going. 0

At the dock was a modest yacht. Air Force led me and the old man onto the boat, and as soon as the engine roared to life, we left the coastline far behind. 0

"Can we fish here?" The old man rubbed his hands together and asked Air Force beside him while gazing at the vast ocean. 0

In a fisherman’s world, where there’s water, one must cast a line to test the depths! 0

We could fish here; however, there weren’t many fish around. After half a day of trying, we barely caught anything. Perhaps we should head over to another spot in the Great Eastern Sea! This place didn’t have much fish; we wouldn’t catch many in a day! 0
