Old Zhang's fish bucket was empty, and he didn't have Yu Hu with him. Did that big fish go straight home? It weighed a little over ten pounds! Not worth much, that Niu Gang Mackerel, so I let it go! After giving Shi Tian a cigarette, Uncle Zhang said with a face full of regret. 0

When the fish came up, after taking a picture and hearing from Shui Laoban that it wasn't worth anything, Uncle Zhang immediately released it, planning to wait until it rested before biting his hook again, so he could enjoy the thrill of the catch. 0

Uncle Zhang had started to enjoy the feeling of playing with the fish, tugging and pulling while being careful not to let the fish snap the line; that sensation was unforgettable. Shui Laoban wanted to intervene but as soon as he opened his mouth, the fish swam into Hai Li, so he swallowed his words back down. 0

It seemed that superstitions could be useful sometimes; he would have to remember this in the future—not to release the first fish casually! After driving into town to buy some groceries, he planned to cook lunch himself since it was Su Xueyi's first day at work, and he wanted to show his appreciation. 0

"Xiao Xue, I bought an extra breakfast for you. Eat it while it's hot!" Shi Tian handed a breakfast to Su Xueyi and went upstairs with the groceries. 0

Shi Tian struggled for a long time over how to address Su Xueyi. "Xiao Su?" felt a bit too formal; "Xueyi" was too familiar and inappropriate. "Xiao Yi?" seemed like it didn't quite fit either. In the end, he reluctantly settled on "Xiao Xue." 0

"Boss, I've already had breakfast!" Su Xueyi stared blankly at the breakfast on the counter. She had eaten before coming here; although it was just a cup of soy milk, it should hold her over until lunch! 0

"Buy more than you can eat; don't waste it!" Shi Tian replied and hurried upstairs. 0

After putting the ingredients in the fridge and quickly finishing his breakfast, Shi Tian planned to indulge in some fishing across the street. The Fishing Platform had been under construction for so long, and he hadn't had a chance to fish there yet. It had been ages since he last fished; finally, he could enjoy casting a few lines! 0

Fishing in freshwater? That wouldn't be possible today. Since Su Xueyi had just started and wasn't familiar with the store's situation, Shi Tian didn't feel comfortable leaving her alone there. He decided to let her get accustomed for a couple of days before going freshwater fishing himself. 0

The only downside was that he didn't have enough points to customize a Fishing Rod and would have to use an ordinary shore rod instead! But actually, he didn’t need to worry; the shore rod left by Air Force was quite good—better than Shui Laoban's original one! 0

With limited points available, getting one shore rod plus a reel would cost five points. He would save where he could; once he accumulated enough points, he'd get himself a Customized Rod and make those guys across the street envious! 0

After finishing breakfast and saying goodbye to Su Xueyi, Shi Tian drove his Dai Yue Ye back to the villa. His original Fishing Gear was still in Electric Mini's trunk; he needed to go back and retrieve it! 0

As soon as he entered the yard, he saw that adorable Excavator digging an Artificial River in his yard. Shi Tian couldn't help but stop in his tracks. 0

This Excavator was just too cute! It looked like a toy; even sitting on it made him feel a bit guilty. With its more than half-meter-wide body and panoramic sunroof, it was fully functional—equipped with a bulldozer blade in front and a foldable arm that could tilt for digging trenches! The only downside was that this machine was too small; it didn’t even have a backrest yet! 0

Running upstairs, Shi Tian grabbed a cigarette and a bottle of water to give to the construction workers. He squatted down to watch the small excavator digging into the river, completely absorbed for over half an hour. Unfortunately, he still had tasks to complete, and after being baked under the sun, he reluctantly picked up his Fishing Box and headed back to the shop. 0

"Xiao Xue, I'm going fishing across the street. Just call me if anything comes up!" After catching a few Live Shrimp, he informed Su Xueyi and then made his way over. 0

Su Xueyi was quite capable; during the time he was gone, she had cleaned both inside and outside the shop. When he returned, she was still wiping the windows with practiced ease, clearly accustomed to doing housework. 0

Today, the area across the street was bustling with activity. Chang Guadi, who hadn’t been seen for several days, had reappeared along with Sun Lang and a group of six people in total—a rather impressive gathering. 0

“Where have you been fishing these past few days?” Shi Tian greeted Chang Guadi as he began to set up his Fishing Spot. 0

The sun in Sanya was scorching; without an umbrella, one could easily get sunburned. The Fishing Box had a screw hole for an umbrella stand, making it convenient to set up once he opened it. 0

Typically, rock fishing is done while standing, but seeing how the others were all sitting down to fish Taiwanese-style, Shi Tian decided to follow suit; after all, he didn’t want to suffer unnecessarily! 0

As a working person, who has time to fish? He grumbled that he had been dragged into working overtime all day Saturday! 0

Chang Guadi shook his head while staring at the Float in the water. “You’re a bit late! The bite is about to stop!” 0

In such hot weather, fishing usually slows down around ten in the morning; now it was already past nine. Shi Tian didn’t expect much from today’s fishing session. 0

If he could catch even two fish, that would be good enough—he didn’t have high expectations! Since opening the shop, this was his first time fishing! Watching them catch fish day after day made him wonder what that feeling was like. 0

“Catching fish one after another? Is it really that good?” Before Chang Guadi could finish speaking, Sun Lang hooked another fish. After about ten minutes of reeling it in, a five or six-pound Sea Bass was dragged onto the shore. Shi Tian quickly got up to help him net it. 0

A five or six-pound Sea Bass wasn’t too big or too small; Xiao Yu loved this size of fish—it was easy to handle! 0

Sea Bass were plentiful nearshore and around some small islands. If one had a boat, they could easily find an island and catch seven or eight fish in half a day as long as luck was on their side—it wasn’t bad at all. 0

Glancing at the fish in the Net, Sun Lang attached a Live Shrimp as bait and cast his line into the water. He handed Shi Tian a cigarette and said, “This Net is great; you can’t fish without one! I’m going to buy another one! Keep an eye on my Rod!” 0

Staring at the Rod that Sun Lang shoved into his hands, Shi Tian felt dumbfounded. 0

“Bro, I brought my own Fishing Gear! I haven’t even cast my Rod yet! What’s going on here?” 0

Ignoring Shi Tian’s complaints, Sun Lang turned a deaf ear and dashed into the Fishing Tackle Shop without looking back. 0
