The new Wheel setup was simple. Just connect a battery the size of a horseshoe, toss the line into the pool, and with a push of a button, control the tension with a towel. There was no need for Shi Tian's help; a thousand meters of line was easily managed.
Once the Wheel was ready, Oka got up to retrieve the rod they had taken on their last outing at sea. The old line was released, and the new one was attached. The blood from the Black Goat had not yet finished draining when the line was already set up.
