Scallion Ginger Fishy finally had a chance to take a break! He put away his rod, lit a cigarette, and turned around to stretch his arms, feeling the strain from carrying Shi Tian and Yun Wan'er. The Fast Draw iron plate was no joke; his arms felt like they were about to fall off!
Lao Shi had done well, managing to catch a Bigeye Flounder and a Mullet weighing over ten pounds after all that time. Despite the exhaustion, he was satisfied with the haul. After some persuasion from Shi Tian, Scallion Ginger Fishy decided not to wander aimlessly anymore. He put down his rod and took a moment to rest, thinking that he could always waive the shipping fee for them later or take them out for free again tomorrow. Who knows, maybe the dolphins would be in business by then!
He let out a sigh as he struck the rod down, while the two girls leaned over the boat's edge, feeling seasick. After being out on the water for so long without breakfast, it was no surprise they were feeling queasy—anyone would!
"Brother, you really know how to fish! Bringing in the professionals for baiting!" he joked. Just then, Scallion Ginger Fishy dashed back into the cabin to fetch some water for the girls. His service was commendable!
"Don't waste this spot; let's get a few more casts in!" Shi Chui whispered to Shi Tian as he extinguished his cigarette. He picked up his rod and felt revitalized once more.
"Is there no humanity? How cruel can this be?" Shi Tian shot him a glance of disdain before reeling in her line. With a gentle flick, she cast it about five or six meters away from Cong Jiang Xing, hoping to see if there were any fish around.
By the time Scallion Ginger Fishy returned with water, Shi Tian already had a bite. She raised her rod and hooked a Yan Zai weighing just over three pounds—better than nothing!
The name Yan Zai might sound a bit rustic, but it also had a rather trendy name when prepared as Katsuobushi. You could even call it Tuna, though its meat quality paled in comparison to those famous varieties of Tuna.
Yan Zai often traveled in schools; Shi Tian caught one, and in the blink of an eye, Shi Chui caught another. Just as they were about to cast again, they spotted that familiar little black triangular flag swimming leisurely toward them.
Well, no need to cast now—the diners had arrived! They quickly put away their rods; dolphins were top-tier creatures, and injuring one could land them in serious trouble!
With a smirk, Shi Tian greeted the two Yan Zai they had just caught and waved their tails toward the water. The two little dolphins immediately swam over.
Watching those two Little Dolphins poke their heads out beside the boat made Scallion Ginger Fishy feel resigned. He had searched all over the sea for so long and burned through half a tank of fuel only to catch less than what Shi Tian did with just a couple of casts.
Once they fed the two fish to the dolphins, a whole pod gathered around Shi Tian's boat. Yun Wan'er was already on her way with that large box of sweets she had bought for the dolphins earlier that morning!
After tossing a few fish into the water, even though the beautiful women on the opposite boat were shouting at the top of their lungs, the Little Dolphins completely ignored them. After all, Yun Wan'er had brought plenty of treats!
Seeing those ladies on the other boat getting anxious, Yun Wan'er smiled and called out to them: "Dolphins are quite sensitive to smells! If you want to get close to them, you’ll need to remove your makeup; they are particularly wary of cosmetic scents!"
As Shi Tian watched, the group of beautiful women squeezed into the cabin, leaving Scallion Ginger Fishy locked outside! What was Yun Wan'er thinking? Had she removed her makeup? What a joke! Sigh, these girls were still too naive, so inexperienced in the world! With that level of intelligence, how could they come all the way to Sanya without fearing being taken advantage of?
By the time the girls emerged again, Yun Wan'er had nearly exhausted the snacks. As soon as the treats stopped, Scallion Ginger Fishy dangled a fish, and a swarm of Little Dolphins immediately rushed over.
"Thank you, sister! They really came over after I took off my makeup!" One of the girls on the boat politely thanked Yun Wan'er as she stuffed a Xiao Yu into a dolphin's mouth.
"Be careful when feeding the dolphins! Check if there are any Fish Hooks in your hands or in their mouths! If there are any Fish Hooks, make sure to remove them; otherwise, they could hurt the dolphins!" After giving this enthusiastic reminder, Yun Wan'er climbed up to the top of the boat with her phone.
These girls had a bit of a low IQ; they weren't suitable to be daughters-in-law. No matter how high their looks were, it was a shame!
The smallest Little Dolphin was named Little Stone, and the slightly bigger one was named Big Stone. When you called their names while feeding them, they would swim over! Since they couldn't become daughters-in-law, she might as well take advantage of it and claim naming rights for these dolphins right in front of them!
Sure enough, as soon as she finished speaking, calls for Little Stone and Big Stone echoed from across. Yun Wan'er sat on top of the boat with her phone, capturing the moment; now those dolphin names were officially hers! She had gained recognition from everyone!
A dolphin typically consumes about thirty pounds of fish a day. With ten dolphins already present and two more added, their food intake was still enormous. Thus, the amount of fish they were feeding was merely a snack for these dolphins and wouldn't have much impact.
The sunset cast a warm glow over the entire sea as the Mini Air Force slowly docked at the pier. Looking at the empty Living Water Tank and realizing there were no Ice Chambers either, it became clear that after a whole day at sea without catching a single fish, they had also lost several dozen pounds of fish and quite a few pounds of Live Shrimp! Not to mention three more liters of diesel! Fishing was indeed quite costly!
