Watching Head Brother and Air Force show off the Bluefin Tuna they had just caught, Shi Tian smacked his lips. Who was he supposed to flaunt this to? Showing off to a few old geezers? That wouldn’t do at all. If those old men got any ideas, they might drag him out on a boat for sea fishing, and with their skills, he wouldn’t stand a chance against them. 0

Boasting in the group chat wasn’t appropriate either. Most of the people there were into Reef Fishing and Freshwater Fishing, with only a handful dabbling in Sea Fishing. Besides, he couldn't take that group out for Sea Fishing anyway. 0

After thinking it over, he ultimately decided to show off to Shi Chui instead. 0

“Lao Shi, how’s the fishing going? Caught anything yet?” He sent a video call just past nine o'clock, surprised to see Shi Chui still fishing outside the shop. 0

“Aren't you out at sea? How do you have time to video call me? Haven't set off yet?” Shi Chui was taken aback by Shi Tian’s call. He thought Shi Tian should be unreachable out on the ocean. Even if he was ahead, they could only communicate via phone, which always had delays—an inherent flaw of Satellite Phones! 0

“Nan You! The boat has internet; I thought I’d chat with you since I caught a big fish!” Holding his phone down from the deck, Shi Tian showed Shi Chui Wang Gou reeling in a fish, grinning proudly. 0

Seeing Shi Tian gloat made Shi Chui feel frustrated. He didn’t take him out to sea and still had the nerve to video call him for a live stream! This son was no good! 0

Watching Wang Gou pull in a fish while holding the rod made Shi Chui slap his thigh in annoyance. He packed up his gear and headed into the Fishing Tackle Shop. 0

Not seeing any big fish himself, he occasionally caught a Little Black Sea Bream here, which was decent enough. However, after seeing the big fish on Wang Gou's rod, the few Xiao Yu in his Fish Bucket didn’t seem so appealing anymore! 0

As he watched Wang Gou drag a Dajinqiang alongside the boat, with two or three people helping to haul it aboard, Shi Chui felt his hands itch with envy. 0

“Xiao Tian! Next time you go out to sea, take me along! I’ll cover the fuel costs!” Looking at the over-a-meter-long fish, Shi Chui thought it best to have a serious talk with Shi Tian about taking him out for some fun at sea. 0

Renting a boat for sea fishing wasn’t an issue for Shi Chui, but having never fished at sea before, he didn’t know how to catch fish out there and lacked equipment. Most importantly, he couldn’t get past Yun Wan'er’s approval. 0

If he went out on Shi Tian’s boat, all those problems would vanish. He could easily find an excuse and even persuade Yun Wan'er to join them for some fun at sea. He could use Shi Tian's equipment; once they were out there, it would be up to him to call the shots. If he could just get close enough to Shi Tian for some fishing lessons, he’d be able to mold things however he wanted! 0

“Lao Shi! I want to take you out too! But without Old Yun’s nod of approval, how can you get out?” Shi Tian deflected Shi Chui’s request; he wasn’t planning on taking him out just yet. He was there to show off his catch, not to entice Shi Chui into going fishing. 0

Wang Gou’s fish was finally brought aboard; after bleeding it out and letting it rest in the water tank, Shi Tian turned around and opened the Living Water Tank. The Sea Red Spot inside had revived somewhat; though barely alive, it was still kicking! 0

“Lao Shi! Check this out! The Sea Red Spot I caught this afternoon weighs sixteen pounds! I spent all afternoon fishing for them—most were dead since they pulled in too quickly.” 0

While both of Shi Tian's catches were alive, compared to that sixteen-pounder, the smaller one didn’t seem worth mentioning. 0

After giving Shi Tian a glance, Shi Chui realized that this was just a way for him to brush him off. Since Shi Tian was trying to provoke him, he decided to return the favor. 0

Turning on the rear camera, Shi Chui pointed it at the large water tank in the shop and smirked. “All these fish in your tank are from your catch, right? Not bad! I’ll take two home for Old Yun to try!” 0

Hearing that Shi Chui wanted to snag some fish from his tank made Shi Tian frown. “We caught those ourselves; feel free to taste them anytime. But there’s one Mouse Grouper in there—that’s my store's Treasure of the Store! You can’t eat that!” 0

A few Black Sea Bream? Shi Tian didn’t really care; eating them was no big deal, as they weren't particularly valuable. 0

Mouse Grouper? What kind was that? Weren't they all just Black Sea Bream? 0

When Shi Chui reminded him, Shi Tian was taken aback. What about his Treasure of the Store? 0

He leaned over his phone screen for a long time before quickly asking, "What happened to my Mouse Grouper? I told Sun Lang and Su Xueyi not to sell it before we went out to sea! They wouldn’t have sold it while busy with their romance, would they?" 0

If those two were so wrapped up in each other that they sold his Mouse Grouper, Shi Tian would definitely make them pay when he got back. 0

That Mouse Grouper was worth six thousand yuan, which was nothing to Sun Lang, but it was something he had caught himself. How many fishermen go their whole lives without catching even one Mouse Grouper? He needed to keep it on display in the store for a few years! 0

"Mouse Grouper? The one that’s darker in color? Old Yun thought it looked nice and took it home to stew! Treasure of the Store? That should taste pretty good! I need to hurry back and try it; maybe I can still get a bite or two!" After boasting a bit, Shi Chui hung up the video call, leaving Shi Tian to stew in his frustration at sea. 0

Staring at the disconnected video call, Shi Tian stood at the stern, dazed and unable to regain his composure for quite some time. 0
