As soon as Yun Wan'er got off the car, Shi Tian immediately rushed over with a bouquet of roses to Kang Ziyu.
The embrace he received in return made it all worthwhile! Hand in hand, they got into the car, and with the convertible top closed, Kang Ziyu drove straight to the villa. They certainly didn’t need to take a joyride just for the sake of a car!
“Tian Ge, I’ve set up the media room; let me sing for you!” As they drove down the tree-lined path, Kang Ziyu smiled slightly.
This media room was specially prepared by Shi Tian for her; even Yun Wan'er was just an afterthought, let alone September and November.
“Don’t call me Tian Ge; it sounds too distant. You should call me Tian Ge! Your voice needs to be sweet, with at least a sugar content of seventy percent!” Turning to gaze at Kang Ziyu’s lovely face, Shi Tian chuckled and said earnestly.
“Tian Ge, how high is the sugar content in that address? Is it enough?” Kang Ziyu rolled her eyes at Shi Tian but looked at him with affectionate eyes.
The sugar content in that address was quite high—off the charts, sweeter than honey! Holding Kang Ziyu's small hand, Shi Tian felt completely smitten by her words!
Shi Tian wasn’t being coy; Kang Ziyu had been quite romantic lately. Not only did she personally oversee every piece of equipment in the media room, but she also designed its decor style after many sleepless nights.
In addition to that, she had also renovated the Fishing Platform at the store entrance, reinforcing the Lure Area and planting trees near the roadside while building several mushroom houses. She even had a small pier constructed for Shi Tian to dock his boat conveniently.
The only regret was that she hadn’t secured the old man’s approval yet. Originally, she planned to have their pier renovated to accommodate large ships like the Air Force. Sitting gracefully at the grand piano, a melody flowed from Kang Ziyu’s fingers, instantly relaxing Shi Tian! The gentle drizzle outside washed away all his fatigue from running around.
As the song ended, he pulled Kang Ziyu into his arms and gently kissed her. This time he wouldn’t run away; they needed to establish a routine!
“Hmph! You’re taking advantage of me again!” Hiding in Shi Tian's embrace, Kang Ziyu playfully swatted his chest with a mock pout.
“What does that mean? Is it a kiss in the rain? You must be Xiao Yu! Who else could kiss you besides me? So isn’t this what you told me—to kiss you? Now that I’ve done it, why are you blaming me?” Shi Tian began to act innocent.
“Hmph! Who translates like that? It should be translated as ‘rainy affair’!” She playfully punched Shi Tian’s chest again as she argued her point.
“I’m not a linguist; how would I know it could be translated like that? Translation should be straightforward—the more direct it is, the clearer its meaning! Just like my love for you—pure and unadulterated!”
If we take ‘beauty’ literally, it means insincerity! Do you want my love for you to be mixed with insincerity?” Gazing at Kang Ziyu’s lips, Shi Tian smiled and countered.
“That’s nonsense! But there is some truth in it!” Listening to Shi Tian’s reasoning, Kang Ziyu found herself agreeing on some points.
When there’s truth involved, it becomes a principle! The romance of a science student lies in its sincerity; you understand how to appreciate that kind of romance!” With a smirk on his face, Shi Tian added, “Now let’s talk about that piece we just played! Besides me, do you allow anyone else to kiss you?”
After asking this question, Kang Ziyu decisively shook her head. Being in love can easily cloud one’s judgment; right now, her intelligence was definitely not functioning at its best.
It is also possible that Kang Ziyu is the hunter, but she appears before Shi Tian in the form of prey. Otherwise, why would she play such a simple piece with her piano skills? This piece certainly does not showcase the capabilities of this audio-visual equipment!
For the rest of my life, your kiss will belong to me. Since I have ownership now, isn't it reasonable to make an advance withdrawal? Before Kang Ziyu could say anything, Shi Tian gently tapped her on the head twice.
Then, a deep and meaningful kiss landed on Kang Ziyu's lips, and their relationship finally took another step forward!
With a kiss that sealed their feelings, Kang Ziyu got up and plugged a portable hard drive into the player, playing the pre-recorded music. Each holding a glass of red wine, they watched the sunlight streaming through the skylight and the pots of blooming flowers below.
"Xiao Yu, do your parents talk? What do they like? What kind of gifts should I bring when I visit them?"
Having rushed over from Xishuangbanna, there was more at stake than just delivering a car to Kang Ziyu. She had mentioned her father before, and this was not something said lightly. Since it was brought up, it meant that her father was now aware of the situation.
His identity had shifted from shadow to light, and the key factor was Kang Ziyu's father. As long as he passed this hurdle, even Head Brother would have to take a back seat!
