"We haven't eaten yet! Save some for us!" Eleven protested immediately as she saw Kang Ziyu packing up breakfast without leaving anything for them.
"How can you be so inconsiderate!" With a roll of her eyes at Kang Ziyu, September got up from the sofa and said, "Eleven, let's not eat here. I'll take you out for a feast! I can't stand this sour smell any longer; we need some fresh air!"
Shi Chui had returned, and Sun Lang was back with Su Xueyi after three days of fun. Su Xueyi was at the shop while Shi Tian was discussing strategies with Old Lin, who was seeking advice from Sun Lang.
"Boss, your move is brilliant! After practicing all night, I followed the three-step plan the next day, and in just one round, Old Su surrendered immediately!" Sun Lang recounted, his face beaming with pride.
Hearing this, Shi Tian couldn't help but feel exasperated. "You call that making him surrender? You practically shoved him under the table! You completed the three-step strategy well, but Father-in-law didn’t hear your heartfelt intentions—at least Mother-in-law did!"
If you can win over Mother-in-law, then it’s still possible. However, getting Su Xueyi into the Sun Family is no simple task; both sets of parents need to meet and discuss it in person.
This matter was no longer Shi Tian's concern, nor did it have much to do with Sun Lang; it was a family issue that would be resolved if the talks went smoothly.
"Old Niu is chasing after someone so young—how inconsiderate! She's still a student!" Old Lin remarked enviously.
Sun Lang was about to meet with Ning soon while he was still navigating through challenges.
"Don’t make it sound so difficult; this is just a little pressure on Hai Tang!" Shi Tian chimed in lightly, enjoying the drama.
"That’s nothing compared to Old Niu chasing after someone young!" As soon as Sun Lang opened his mouth, Shi Tian quickly shifted away from that topic.
"Old Lin, keep it up! One day send those new operational photos to Bird Brother so he can come and take her away; otherwise, we’ll have to give her a year-end bonus!"
The new operational recruit was from Northwestern China with a clear purpose: a one-for-one exchange. As long as they trained her well enough to get started, there was no need for her to master everything; they had to give Bird Brother some opportunities too.
When recruiting, they made sure to explain to the new recruit that she would be trained here before returning to the Northwest for work since she had applied specifically for that region. Whether or not she clicked with Bird Brother wasn’t their concern.
"But she hasn’t been trained yet! Right now, she can only handle basic data; anything deeper is still beyond her reach. It’ll take at least two months!" Shi Tian sighed, realizing how challenging it was to train someone for operations.
Bird Brother had treated him well; now that he had brought this recruit over himself, he needed to see it through properly—he couldn’t just send back someone half-baked!
"Two months? That seems like a long time! We know you’re training her for operations, but from Mo Fei's perspective, if too much time passes, she might start thinking differently. Bird Brother, you're playing with fire!"
Shi Tian lightly provoked Old Lin again. Just then, he cast his line and noticed a Bigeye Mullet leaping out of the water.
He quickly pressed down on his rod and reeled in fast. "You wash your gills while I reel in my line—let’s see who’s better at this!"
Shi Tian reminded Old Lin to reel in quickly as he turned to leave.
"Where are you going?" Sun Lang asked, glancing back at Old Lin with a smirk.
"I'm going to send some photos to Bird Brother, so he can hurry up and come pick someone up!" Mo Fei mentioned during their chat a few days ago about the new operation, and it was clear he had some plans in mind. This person needed to be sent off quickly!
Shi Tianyi reached out to grab Old Lin's arm while wrapping up the call. "There's no rush. After we send him off, we can recruit a couple of sharp individuals to help out. Bird Brother brought you here, but he doesn't want you to just be an operator."
He understood that your abilities were wasted on just being an operator, and since he couldn't offer you a higher position, he brought you along instead. Once you've trained the new operator, you'll be in charge of the entire online segment.
"Train well for the next couple of years and accumulate some experience; I'll have plans for you by then!"
Shi Tian's skill in painting a bright future was becoming increasingly refined. When Bird Brother sent Old Lin over, it was to give him a hand, hoping that Old Lin would help get the online store up and running.
However, as the business expanded, Shi Tian's confidence grew stronger. He spoke with assurance, adding more color to his visions.
But when these words reached Old Lin's ears, he truly believed them. The online store was getting on track, sales were increasing daily, and as the revenue climbed higher and higher, both Shi Tian and Yun Wan'er became less invested in the store, busying themselves with other matters while leaving everything related to the online shop in his hands!
