"Ying Er Jie, can't you do something about them? They just had to steal the Fishing Rod, but they even took the fish! This is outrageous!" Shi Tian shot a glance at the three of them and turned to Lu Ying Er, who was greeting Shi Chui, to complain.
Hearing Shi Tian's complaint, Lu Ying Er turned around and smiled slightly. "It is outrageous. How can grown adults steal Xiao Tian's Fishing Rod? Just wait; I'll get it back for you!"
Once Air Force removed the Hook and placed the fish into the Fish Bucket, Lu Ying Er reached out and took the Rod from Shi Ye's hands. She turned to Shi Tian and asked, "Where are Sister-in-law and Xiao Yu? Are they at home or in the shop?"
"They're at the shop! On the second floor of the café. Just head up there," Shi Tian replied. With the Rod in hand, she shot a triumphant look at Shi Ye, baited a Live Shrimp onto the hook, and thought about how she would show off her skills.
"Well, I’ll head over first. I’ll bring the fish back. Remember to come home early for dinner tonight!" With that, Lu Ying Er bent down to lift the Sesame Grouper from the Fish Bucket and turned towards the café.
Shi Tian watched Lu Ying Er's retreating figure, realizing that this fish was ultimately not going to stay with them. The large aquarium in their shop had been empty for a long time; there wasn't even a decent fish left in it. How would they celebrate the New Year?
"Master, how is that Pier you guys are building coming along? If we can't get our fish back, we might as well find another way to make money!" He pulled out a pack of cigarettes and scattered some around, quickly emptying half of it.
"There are too many people outside the shop! If Air Force sets up a few more stalls, those Fishing Platforms across the street will be full!"
"I can't keep an eye on everything by myself; it's already stopped for now. We'll continue after the New Year." He casually replied to Shi Tian while Yi Laotou switched to using Live Shrimp as bait. The black and yellow frequency was high, but Shi Ban offered better value!
"Why did you think of building a Pier there? There aren't many fish in that area! At most, just some Stone Jiu Gong and Black Sea Bream?"
Shi Ye and his companions considered grabbing their Rods and taking a break while fishing here.
However, when Shi Tian mentioned the Pier, the three exchanged knowing smiles. Among them were only a few old men; only Yi Laotou was keeping watch over his home. If they could pull Shi Tian into their plan, it would be four against one—stealing from a few old men wouldn't be too difficult!
"Who says there are no fish? Didn't you catch a thirty-kilogram Longfin Grouper last time? Let me show you; this is one I caught—let's see if it's two or three times bigger than yours!" Yi Laotou proudly pulled out a photo of his Longfin Grouper on his phone.
As soon as he showed off the Longfin Grouper, everyone gasped in surprise. Shi Ye stared at Yi Laotou's phone screen with a slight smirk and said, "Old man, I rushed back this time without bringing you any gifts. But when I passed through Pu'er, I picked up two cakes of tea for you. Now let's go have some tea!"
In their camp filled with old men, there were Longfin Groupers; it seemed that the waters there were deeper than here, so the fishing should be just as good.
With so many people here, it would be better to form a team to steal from those old men! Back when they were in Africa, their Xinyue Lake was raided by Old Kong along with Old Wen and Old Liu; now it was time for them to experience being robbed!
Shi Tian spoke up, and Kong Jun Lu Ya immediately agreed. With Shi Chui also feeling tempted and Shi Tian having thought about this for a while, they half-pushed Yi Laotou into Shi Ye's car.
"Shui Zong, there's something going on at home; let's reschedule our meeting for another day. I’ll treat you along with Shui Ge and Uncle Zhang—I’ll cook myself!" Sun Lang added before saying he would give each of Shui Zong's group a pack of Wo Liao before leaving.
With everyone packed into the car, they had to hurry or they would miss out!
Not following Shi Ye’s car towards those old men’s camp, Shi Tian first parked in his garage before running to the Storage Room to grab a Net and small bucket. He picked up his Rod and took a shortcut through a back road.
Glancing at Yi Laotou being entertained with tea inside by Shi Ye Kong Jun, Shi Tian chuckled as he scattered some bait into the water. Within moments, he scooped up over a pound of Live Shrimp.
"Master, these Live Shrimp you raised can be used now! You all enjoy your tea here; since it's low tide now, I’ll take these down to try my luck by the sea. Tonight I'll treat you all to some Shi Ban!"
Without waiting for Yi Laotou to respond, Shi Tian ran toward the sea with a small bucket, disappearing in the blink of an eye.
Watching Shi Tian's vanishing figure, Yi Laotou gritted his teeth in anger. It seemed that the spiciness of the Chao Tian Hong was still too mild. He would have to ask Scallion and Ginger to prepare some Devil Pepper; it was time for Shi Tian to learn a lesson!
The live shrimp he raised were meant for Shi Ban. The two phrases connected in their minds, and the three of them exchanged glances.
This Xiao Tian was too mischievous; old man, only you spoil him like this!
You stay here and enjoy your tea while we go teach him a lesson and get those shrimp back! We’ll drag him back here to apologize! After finishing a cup of tea, Shi Ye stood up and spoke, turning to head out. As he opened the trunk, several of them grabbed their gear and headed toward the beach.
Are you all going to teach him a lesson with fishing rods? Who do you think you're fooling?
Let’s go! Hurry up and grab your rods to chase after him! If we don’t hurry, those shrimp will be ruined by them! Yi Laotou glanced at Shi Chui, who was sitting calmly drinking tea, and quickly urged him.
It's not that I'm afraid of thieves stealing; I’m worried about them coveting what you have! Those four guys have their eyes on your shrimp, so you better be careful!
As he got up to follow Yi Laotou outside, Shi Chui leaned closer and whispered, "Tomorrow I’ll bring you a big fish tank; let’s catch some to keep in there! Otherwise, they won’t stop until they’ve cleaned out that pond of shrimp!"
