In front of the old man, he was no longer the obedient child. When it came to the source of his upbringing, it was these old men who had shaped him.
"Stop grinning and get serious! Hurry up and get me twenty tons of feed!" The Finless Porpoise was brought up, and we planned to push forward on a large scale.
The old man was still efficient; before Sanya even began, he had already contacted Fish Fry, and the feed could be delivered by the latest tomorrow evening.
The previous ton of feed hadn’t been finished yet, but it wouldn’t hurt to have some extra on hand. Once this batch of Xiao Yu was released, if all went well, they would need to dig more fish ponds—at least ten, if not more.
But Fish Fry hadn’t been delivered yet! What’s the rush? We can fish for another day; we’ll be able to go by tomorrow evening without any delays! I know you still have four bags of feed left in your warehouse!
Last time, we didn’t use up all the feed; there were still seven or eight bags remaining. When we went to Huanggang, the old man took three bags with him, leaving four bags stored in their board room.
Fish Fry will be transported over soon. This time we’re raising more, and that amount of feed won’t last long. Hurry up! We can definitely come tomorrow evening, right? Don’t let anything delay us!
Hearing that Shi Tian could come tomorrow evening, Old Kong felt less anxious.
Fish Fry could only be fed three days after being placed in the pond. As long as Shi Tian could arrive tomorrow, there wouldn’t be any delays.
Old Kong knew this well, and so did Shi Tian. After spending over two hundred thousand on fuel to get to Xisha, it would be a waste not to make it worthwhile.
Old Kong was worried that Shi Tian might have learned about Liu Xiaoguang's feelings and gotten emotional about it; that would be troublesome!
It seemed that Shi Tian wasn’t concerned about it or perhaps Old Kong hadn’t mentioned it to him at all.
"Old man, do you really think I’m that unreliable? When have I ever delayed your matters?" After finishing his sentence, Shi Tian chuckled and said, "Old man, after we go back, I’d like to feed the Finless Porpoise. Could you please give me a heads-up?"
This could only be done with the help of a few old men. If the old man didn’t say anything, not only would feeding be impossible, but even just getting a glimpse from afar would be out of the question!
"Let’s talk later; I’ll find someone to take you!" After saying this, Old Kong ended the video call. He couldn’t give Shi Tian any chances for negotiation.
Watching as Old Kong hung up the video call, Shi Tian rubbed his nose. Twenty tons of feed for such an opportunity felt like a loss!
Old Kong was indeed sharp; sensing something off, he immediately hung up. He still had many wishes left unfulfilled!
However, since Old Kong agreed to let him feed the Finless Porpoise, this major issue was resolved. If wishes were easy to fulfill without Old Kong's help, what about his grandson? He wouldn’t escape that easily.
"Ye Ge, after we go back I want to register a few trademarks. Do you have any connections?" The next day after fishing at Zao Kou, Shi Tian approached Shi Ye and asked.
Last time the fishing gear trademarks were handled by Air Force and Old Kong; Shi Tian wasn’t sure how much effort they put into it. If he wanted to get a few more trademarks registered, he first needed to gauge Shi Ye's thoughts.
If it were easy enough to do so without hesitation, Shi Ye would definitely send him directly to Air Force.
If it were difficult, then he would have to resort to simpler methods. The process would take some time; eventually he could find someone suitable for it.
"Trademark? What kind of trademarks are you looking to register?" Hearing that Shi Tian wanted to register trademarks again piqued Shi Ye's curiosity.
Shi Tian held a trademark, but it was only registered for fishing gear. Looking at it now, he realized he needed to register more trademarks, especially since items like tents and flashlights in his store were not protected under any trademark.
His kitchen knife was quite useful, and he wanted to register a trademark for it separately. This trademark could be used alongside the shovel, so it made sense to register them together. There was also the veterinary vaccine syringe that his master had tested, which received positive feedback and even led to additional orders; that definitely needed a trademark as well.
If possible, he wanted to register a boat too. He planned to approach Old Lu at the shipyard and get the trademark registered in advance. As for those smaller items, there was no rush.
Points could be exchanged for technology, so the kitchen knife had to be prioritized. It earned points the fastest, followed by the syringe. The shovel was just an afterthought and seemed the least promising.
He thought about asking Jun Ge for help; if he wasn't in a hurry, it could take three months to register. If he was in a rush, he would have to talk to Old Kong or Old Wen, with Old Wen being the more reliable option. Once Shi Ye heard about this kid wanting to sell kitchen knives, he lost interest.
Currently, Shi Ye was considering carbon fiber technology. He felt uneasy without mastering this technology. He had given Old Liu three days to look into it, but it seemed Liu Xiaoguang was quite clueless; when asked to gather materials, he impulsively decided to focus on the technology instead.
However, one couldn't judge solely by appearances; they needed to observe Old Liu's actions as well. Hearing this made Shi Tian feel reassured. As he turned around, Shi Ye called him over: "Finish your meal and take a nap. After we finish fishing tonight, we’ll go."
It had been two days since Old Liu had been in Sanya; it was time for him to demand an explanation!
"Got it!" With that said, Shi Tian turned and headed off to find the Air Force.
