"Big fish? Is it really that easy to catch? If you could go Fishing for Big Fish, you wouldn't be lugging around those few small carp this morning!"
Watching Shi Tian cast his line, Jian Qiang Ge didn't rush to speak. Although the bites weren't as good as they had been in the morning, catching an occasional small fish was still nice, as it meant he wouldn’t have to scramble around. The frenzy of the morning had left him feeling exhausted, and his right wrist was still aching. He decided to take a break and observe Shi Tian's bait to see how effective it was. If it proved successful, he could always join in later.
Noticing Jian Qiang Ge's silence, Shi Tian began to feel anxious. He occasionally glanced at Jian Qiang Ge out of the corner of his eye; this bro was definitely not following the usual script!
After a few casts, Sun Lang arrived. Su Xueyi didn’t have time to play with him, but knowing that Shi Tian was fishing here, he wanted to come and pay homage to the legendary Jian Qiang Ge. He set his things down in front of Shi Tian, exchanged pleasantries with Jian Qiang Ge for a quick photo, then sat down next to Shi Tian. He cast his rod, threw out some bait, lit a cigarette, and waited for the fish to bite.
"Are you opening a branch in Hangzhou? When?" Leaning back in his fishing chair, Sun Lang turned to Shi Tian and asked.
Shi Tian had mentioned before that Sun Lang was now the big boss of the Fishing Tackle Shop. However, such a significant matter as opening a branch in Hangzhou was something even Xiaoxue knew about, yet he was left in the dark. What was going on?
"When are you opening the branch? Where will it be?" This was your business.
It was certain that a store would be opened in Hangzhou; it would help cover Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai while promoting Xingpai Fishing Gear. Additionally, it would cater to sea fishing around the Zhoushan Archipelago—where the market was much larger than that of Sanya!
When it came to sea fishing, Xiangshan in southern Zhoushan was undoubtedly the top choice for enthusiasts. Plus, heading out to sea meant reaching the Zhoushan Archipelago; one could easily find a small island and fish all day.
There were plenty of people enjoying sea fishing in Zhoushan as well; transportation there was quite developed with connections between dozens of islands. One could drive to any island and find a reef to cast their line for a day or two.
Most people heading out from Huizhou or Sanya were after tuna. The price for boat rods at that level was quite high and difficult to promote.
Opening up the market in Xiangshan or Zhoushan and promoting Iso Rods and Lure Rods wouldn’t be too challenging. With a foundation of Iso Rods and Lure Rods established, there would be no need to push boat rods; those going out to sea would naturally seek them out.
The fish caught from sea fishing there weren’t just from local fishing buddies but included most sea fishing enthusiasts across the country. With their market share secured there, promotion wouldn’t be necessary; soon enough, the overall market share within the country would rise.
"Alright then, I’ll roughly pick a few areas tonight and confirm later!"
Sun Lang didn’t know much about the Jiang-Zhe region either. He needed to research more about that area tonight so he could have something substantial to discuss; otherwise, there would be nothing to talk about!
Compared to opening a store in Cha Dong, Sun Lang was far more interested in opening one in Su Hang. If Su Xueyi could also open a branch there, that would be perfect.
He envisioned buying a boat with his own money so they could settle there together; only spending winters in Sanya would make life quite pleasant.
Suddenly, his float bobbed. Shi Tian quickly gripped his rod and focused intently on the float, ready to strike at any moment.
As soon as Shi Tian made a move, Jian Qiang Ge immediately turned his attention toward him.
Shi Tian had mentioned that he was using Wo Liao for Fishing for Big Fish; now it was time to see just how big of a catch he could reel in!
Once again, after a meal, Hei Piao instantly relaxed.
With such a manner of feeding, the fish couldn't be too big. A large fish that takes the bait usually tests it a few times before settling down heavily, just like the steady pull of Hei Piao.
The way it was feeding left no doubt; it was still immature. The vibrations traveling up from the rod made that clear.
