"Just put it there! Hurry up and bring the Bait over, let's consider it a post-meal digestif. I'll take care of things here!" Shi Tian pressed the bowls and chopsticks on the table, and Yi Laotou began to shoo everyone away.
They wanted Bait; these old men were planning to go fishing. It was fine for them to wander around when they were bored, but what did they need Bait for at this hour? Were they really going to travel all night just for a few fish? Surely, these old men wouldn't go to such lengths!
However, to avoid washing dishes, I might as well make the trip! I could spend a little more time in the shop, check the flight schedules, and definitely wouldn’t let these old men leave tonight.
I would check the recipe for Bait at home, rummage through the ingredients in the fridge, pack what I could take with me, and if anything was missing, I could drive to the hotel nearby where they had a more complete selection of ingredients.
I rushed into the shop, prepared the Bait, tossed it into the Fishing Box, and looked at the crowd on the food street across from me. Anyou Town would no longer be quiet after this.
There were people fishing, singing, and stalls set up along the beach; now even those alleys were filled with vendors.
The Cultural and Tourism Bureau was tirelessly promoting something; what were they up to? Were they planning to establish a third battleground in Anyou Town? Should I reveal my homemade Squid recipe to add some flavor to this street?
I thought about researching some snacks that could be fun to make—things like pancake rolls with grilled Squid or bamboo tube rice with Qing Bu Liang. However, I didn’t know how to make Qing Bu Liang myself; I’d have to ask Yi Laotou about it later!
There were no direct flights from Sanya to Nanchang, which made things easier. I glanced back at the bustling Anyou Town, lightly pressed on the accelerator, and hurried back.
"Master, how do you make Qing Bu Liang?" As I walked in with a bag of Bait, Shi Tian immediately asked.
The old men were still there; Kang Ziyu and Kong Yunfei, who had just eaten together with us, were nowhere to be seen. Kong Yunfei had mentioned he needed to return to Hunan tonight; he must be packing his things now!
"Qing Bu Liang? Your senior brother can make it; just learn from him!" As I took the Bait from Shi Tian's hands, Yi Laotou stood up and said, "You wash the dishes while we take a stroll to digest our food. Remember to lock the door when you leave!"
Looking at the pile of bowls and chopsticks on the table, Shi Tian was somewhat dumbfounded. "You said you’d wash the dishes; I’m here helping you get Bait! You haven’t even touched them since I left!"
After strolling out and closing the door behind them, the old men immediately got moving. They opened Shi Tian's trunk and cleaned out the Fishing Box of Bait before rushing towards Kang Ziyu's small courtyard.
As soon as the car door opened, they piled into the car. "Xiao Yu, drive quickly; we need to set off! We won't reach Nanchang until late at night!"
After finishing their collaboration talks, Kong Yunfei was supposed to head back to Hunan that afternoon but ended up being kept by these old men under the pretense of treating him to dinner.
Staying for dinner cost several thousand yuan; that meal turned out to be quite expensive.
It was somewhat inconvenient from Nanchang this way. After some discussion among themselves, they decided to keep Kong Yunfei around and hitch a ride on his flight directly back to Nanchang—after all, it was only an extra hour of flying.
As for applying for flight routes, that wasn’t difficult at all; they had someone handle it in the afternoon and already secured approval.
"Old man, did you get the Bait? Share a pack with me!" As Kang Ziyu drove out of the villa area, Kong Yunfei started asking for tickets. For just a few packs of Bait, he had wasted several hours and would have to fly hundreds of miles just to drop them off in Nanchang—was it too much to ask for one pack of Bait?
