However, running a restaurant is not easy. Has she done it before? If not, it would be wise for her to find a place to work for a month first, to get a feel for the processes before making any decisions!
Da Gui Wang wants to open a store for his girlfriend, and Shi Tian will definitely support him. However, there is a lot to learn if they want to run a successful business. Shi Tian has never met Da Gui Wang's girlfriend, and hastily investing twenty or thirty thousand could involve significant risks.
Take Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai as an example. Many people say that these regions are culinary deserts, but is that really true? Most of those who say this are tourists; the locals do not share that sentiment. The local cuisine is quite specific, favoring fresh and subtly sweet flavors. While outsiders might find it hard to adapt, the locals enjoy it.
If they decide to open a restaurant in Suzhou, should they focus on Su Cuisine, Sichuan Cuisine, or Shandong Cuisine? Regardless of the choice, they would have to sacrifice a large portion of their audience. Shi Tian himself doesn’t know how to prepare authentic Su Cuisine; he has modified the recipes taught by Yi Laotou to suit his own tastes. If he were to present those dishes as they are, they would come off as somewhat out of place.
Following Yi Laotou's recipes, Shi Tian could manage to cook the dishes. However, if he doesn’t enjoy what he makes himself, he certainly can’t ask the locals to taste test for him! She really hasn’t worked in the restaurant industry before; I’ll have Han find her a place to learn.
As for Sanya, I find her annoying every day; she always tries to escape and go fishing. But after just a few days apart, I start missing her again. Have you ever felt that way?
While discussing the prospect of opening a store, Da Gui Wang casually mentioned this.
“Nope! We’re inseparable every day; I’ve never found her annoying! I only wish time would slow down!” Xiao Feng shot Da Gui Wang a glare while looking at Xiao Yu, his survival instincts kicking in.
Why bring up such topics without considering the occasion? If it were just him alone with Da Gui Wang, they could talk freely over drinks. But with Xiao Yu present, any slip could lead to trouble!
“Turtle Brother, what did you just say? My car has a dashcam recording right now! If I play this back and there’s no big meal involved afterward, we’ll have issues!”
“Come on now! You can’t be serious!” Da Gui Wang turned to Shi Tian and Xiao Feng, feeling somewhat naïve.
“One cup of milk tea; otherwise, I’m a witness!” Just as he thought about excluding Xiao Yu from the conversation, she jumped in first!
“Add another cup; mine is for Xiao Yu! Otherwise, I’m also a witness!” The Unreliable Duo always had such perfect timing.
I’m ordering two cups here: Witnesses plus Physical Evidence! As soon as the car stopped, Shi Tian joined in on the fun.
After dropping off the three at the store, he glanced at the brother across the street who was still keeping watch.
“Got a smoke?” He offered one up as he noticed how tense the brother looked. Could it be that he was really being watched?
“Yeah,” came the reply from Line Setup. “The sub-line is ready!” As he took the cigarette from Shi Tian’s hand without even raising his head, he stretched his neck to keep an eye on his Float.
With that sub-line ready, it was hard to tell how big of a fish they were dealing with.
Typically, the fish that can be caught in seconds weigh between seven to ten pounds. Any larger, and the fish become more cunning. They won't simply snap your line; instead, they will pull on your rod, leaving you helpless as you watch it bend under the strain. Eventually, the line might snap or the rod could break, and all you can do is helplessly witness their escape, consumed by a sense of despair.
