From a profit standpoint, securing the agency for Boat Rod would benefit Shi Tian. Shi Tian had not pushed for Boat Rod; whether in physical stores or online, the focus was primarily on Hand Rods and Lure Rods, with only a small portion of Iso Rods being sold. Traditional rods and Fly Rods were merely supplementary, hardly selling more than a few sets each month.
If Boat Rod were given to a few older gentlemen, sales would surely increase. While he couldn't guarantee exact numbers, selling a few thousand sets would easily translate to hundreds of millions in revenue. However, if he promised Boat Rod to them, they would likely start pushing Lure Rods tomorrow. Once the Lure Rods were in hand, the next step might involve Shi Tian's Server, which Shi Ye was determined to prevent at all costs.
Letting go of the agency rights was one thing; Xiao Tian would definitely not agree to that! After some thought, Shi Ye lit a cigarette and said, "I'll talk to Xiao Tian later and see if we can get him to sell an export version of Boat Rod. We could just change its appearance and create a Smart Rod Sea Fishing edition."
If they simply wanted data, then he would provide it. As for the domestic market, they couldn't let even a bit slip through. The evening sky hinted at snow; it was time to remain vigilant and act cautiously.

Another ten-kilogram Yellowfin Tuna was reeled in, and Old Zhang finally indulged in his tuna fishing thrill. After three days out at sea, Old Zhang, Old Lin, Electric Car Guy, and Newbie Aura had left the other crew members squinting against the sun.
Under normal circumstances, catching one Tuna a day would be considered a good haul; catching one every two or three days was typical. When there were no Tuna around, Yan Zai and Huang Ji were common sights, while Purple Snapper occasionally provided some excitement.
By noon or midnight when they paused fishing—or when the wind blew them away from the fish schools—there could be hours where their rods remained still; such occurrences were commonplace for sea fishermen.
These three had it good; Zao Kou and his crew caught fish while they were still out there fishing at night—not too early or too late—switching fishing spots and still managing to pull in Tuna with their iron plates.
With their impressive catch rate, the other crew members looked on in disbelief; it seemed like they were treating Tuna as if they were merely pulling in sticks! To bask in their glory, whenever they stopped the boat to cast their lines, the three would inevitably find themselves surrounded by others trying to catch up.
Even so, using the same rods, baits, and methods as everyone else, Hai Li and Tuna seemed to recognize only their rods. Even Shi Tian and Wang Gou had been outdone several times.
As Old Zhang helped reel in the fish, Shui Bi Zhang glanced at his own rod. He had switched from Xiaomi to Squid bait and then from Squid to Chi Zai bait. He had tried every bait imaginable but still hadn't gotten a single bite!
Feeling around in his pocket, he pulled out a few steel coins and tossed them towards Hai Li. "Since you don't fancy what I've got for you, here’s some money! Go buy whatever you want! I'm done catering to you!"
Clapping my hands, I began to wrap things up; it was almost time to head back.
"Did Boss Shui not give you your commission? How stingy!"
