"This fish is quite fresh!" Brother Jin exclaimed. "I have a gathering the day after tomorrow, so I’ll take this fish. Don’t sell it to anyone else, hurry up and transfer the money!" Upon hearing about Langgang, Brother Jin’s expression immediately changed.
Going to Langgang to fish with just a day and a half left? What are we waiting for? Let’s get on the boat! How much could two fish be worth? This isn’t pure wild catch; it’s much cheaper than the boat fare.
Brother Jin wasn’t focused on the boat fare; he was interested in Oka taking people out. He firmly believed that fishing with Oka meant there would be fish to catch.
"Old Jin, don’t hog it all! Let’s each take one fish. I’m free tomorrow; let’s go have some fun together!" Hearing about the boat fare, Fishing Buddy couldn’t sit still any longer.
They had all gone out to sea with Oka before and knew that fishing in the ocean was easier than here, with bigger fish that were worth more.
"Sorry, but I really have a gathering the day after tomorrow. One fish isn’t enough; two would be just right." Snatching two Large Yellow Croakers from Shi Tian’s hands, Brother Jin quickly pulled out his phone to transfer the money.
Watching Shi Tian shamelessly, Oka was at a loss for words. However, since both parties were willing participants, he didn’t feel it was his place to intervene.
These people were clients he had cultivated over time, and Oka certainly had no objections to taking them out fishing.
"Xiao Yu, collect the money!" As the fish were weighed, he called Li Ziyu over to collect payment. Turning back to the boat, he brought down another basket, leaving Brother Jin dumbfounded.
"Can I return this fish?" Looking at the basket of fish Shi Tian had, Brother Jin felt a pang of regret. This guy is unbelievable! Isn’t this consumer fraud? So many fish are worth way more than the boat fare; with that money, he could just go out to sea with the Fishing Boat himself!
"Cash and goods exchanged; no returns!" Upon hearing about a return, Li Ziyu quickly tucked his phone into his pocket and took two steps back, ready to bolt at any moment.
Seeing Li Ziyu’s greedy expression, Shi Tian couldn’t help but smile.
"Xiao Yu is selling fish now! Brother Jin has secured his boat ticket; there are still two spots left. Whoever buys more gets them!" Placing the fish on the ground, Shi Tian teased Li Ziyu for some amusement.
Li Ziyu enjoyed this kind of thing, especially since the money went into her own pocket. Even though it seemed like a small amount, it felt different when she earned it herself and spent it.
Hearing that he had secured a ticket for himself, Brother Jin finally felt relieved. He took out his phone and called a friend. They needed to deal with these fish before heading out for lunch.
"Old Liu, what’s up? Why are you going to the reservoir?"
"I caught a few Large Yellow Croakers but can’t eat them all. I’ll give you one to try; I’ll leave it at Zhoushan Fishing Tackle Shop. Come pick it up when you have time; hurry over while it's fresh because I’m heading out to sea soon and won’t have time to deliver."
"Old Zhang! Are you coming out to fish? What’s so great about fishing in a ditch? Come to Zhoushan for sea fishing; that’s where the real fun is."
"I just caught a few Large Yellow Croakers and saved one for you. I’ll leave it at Zhoushan Fishing Tackle Shop; I’ll send you the location so you can pick it up yourself. I’m heading out to sea soon and won’t have time to deliver."
After finishing the call and packing up his things, he grabbed two convenient bags from the store. He put one Large Yellow Croaker in one bag while dividing the rest among Xiao Yu. He labeled them and placed them in the refrigerator at Fishing Tackle Shop, waiting for these two guys to go Sea Fishing so they wouldn’t feel lonely next time!
