Watching the uncle joyfully return to his fishing spot with Plastic Particles in hand, Shi Tian began to prepare his own gear for casting. The resources of saltwater fish in Tanzania were abundant, so Shi Tian decided not to use Wo Liao this time; whatever he could catch would be a bonus. 0

He baited his hook and cast his line, securing it with a Loss Prevention Rope, just in case he hooked a crocodile that hadn’t been weaned yet—he wanted to be ready for a fight! 0

There were plenty of fish around; Net Workers were present, but he hadn’t heard of any Electricians. In such a small river, it was unlikely many people would come to cast nets. 0

Suddenly, a big Hei Piao caught his attention. As he lifted the rod, a Yellow Catfish came up. Shi Tian held the line and stared at the nearly ten-pound Yellow Catfish for quite a while. 0

“Uncle An, are there Yellow Catfish here too?” After studying it closely, Shi Tian confirmed that this was indeed a Yellow Catfish, and it was quite a sizable one. 0

Uncle An was the older gentleman who was an engineer working on infrastructure projects here. He hadn’t returned home in over six months. 0

Hearing Shi Tian call out, Uncle An turned his head for a glance before returning his focus to his Float. He already had a bite and was just waiting to reel it in. 0

With a swift motion, he lifted the rod, bending it into a deep arc. “Yes! The Yellow Catfish here aren’t small at all; someone even caught one weighing forty pounds!” 0

Yellow Catfish were peculiar; farmed ones were not as large as wild ones. “What you have isn’t that big; aim for a forty-pounder!” 0

Old An had hooked a fish, and the enthusiastic Heng Ge immediately stood up to help. 0

“Heng Ge, you stay put. I’ll go assist Uncle An with landing the fish,” Shi Tian said. “Just keep the Hook in the water and don’t stray from the Fishing Spot; otherwise, the fish might drag away your Rod.” With that reminder, Shi Tian set down his Rod and hurried over to help. 0

Actually, there was no need for assistance; Uncle An’s two companions were already waiting with a Net. But since Uncle An had helped him earlier, it was only polite to return the favor. 0

Uncle An was taking his time with the fish; he wasn’t in any rush to bring it up. He lifted the Rod and took two steps back, letting out line as the fish struggled. Judging by the smile on his face, he wasn’t planning on bringing it up until it learned how to swim on its back! 0

After sharing a round of cigarettes while waiting for Uncle An to tire out the fish, Shi Tian figured that anything under ten pounds wouldn’t take more than ten minutes to tire out. 0

Watching Heng Ge and his other Bro’s who were poised to scoop up the fish, Shi Tian frowned. These two Bro’s weren’t very committed! Uncle An was taking his time reeling in the fish while they seemed completely unfazed—this clearly indicated they were losing focus on their fishing; he needed to stabilize their spirits. 0

Feeling around in his pocket, he found several dozen Plastic Particles left. He would give them some soon; stabilizing their focus was crucial! 0

“Uncle An, what kind of fish are in this river?” He watched closely as Uncle An dealt with the fish on his Rod. After already swallowing some water earlier, another couple of rounds would surely turn him over. 0

“The variety is quite mixed; larger ones include Carp, Azure Catfish, Grass Carp, and Black Fish. I’ve also heard there are Lungfish and plenty of Jia Yu.” 0

Yellow Catfish didn’t seem to rank among them; evidently, there were more species than just these few. 0

“What about Lophius?” When thinking of Africa, Shi Tian's first thought went straight to Lophius. 0

Lophius had already invaded all rivers south of the Yangtze River; coming all this way to Africa without catching a few to dry felt unsatisfactory. 0

There were some up north at Victoria Lake—the source of the Nile River—where Lophius were plentiful. 0

Here they existed too but were relatively fewer compared to their rampant presence back home. 0

While Old An was speaking, Shi Tian dipped his net into the water. A fish swam right in, and with a swift pull, he dragged it up. 0

The fish was caught, but Old An felt a pang of frustration. After all the effort to hook such a large fish, he hadn’t even had the chance to enjoy the thrill of reeling it in before Shi Tian snatched it away. Why was he always so eager to help? 0

Ignoring Old An's resentful gaze, Shi Tian quickly offered him a cigarette and pulled out the remaining plastic particles from his pocket, distributing some to his two brothers before returning to his own fishing for yellow catfish. 0

Next time he came fishing, he would need to bring some worms or something similar. Yellow catfish loved stinky bait, and Jia Yu preferred meat. With worms, he might even catch a big Jia Yu! 0

He cast his line, and before the float had even settled, A Heng over there had hooked another fish. 0

Looking at A Heng's rod tip, it seemed like this fish wasn’t very big, so there was no need to lend a hand. 0
