Chen Xuan was more anxious than ever. Without waiting for Old Xin to speak, he grabbed him by the arm.
"Old Xin, I have something urgent to tell you."
"I have something urgent to tell you too!" they both exclaimed in unison.
"You go first." Chen Xuan suddenly calmed down, thinking it would be better to hear what Old Xin had to say and then assess the situation.
Holding a bowl of water, Old Xin said anxiously, "I'm here because there's a demon that needs to be imprisoned here."
As expected. Chen Xuan's eyes lit up with realization, but when he glanced behind Old Xin, he saw nothing and asked in surprise, "Where's the demon you mentioned?"
"Right here." Old Xin lifted the bowl of water.
"This bowl is the demon?" Chen Xuan pointed at the bowl in Old Xin's hand, puzzled.
"Not the bowl itself, but what's inside it."
Old Xin mysteriously handed the bowl to Chen Xuan. He looked down and saw a shimmering blue liquid swirling within.
"What is this?" Chen Xuan asked curiously.
Old Xin carefully glanced around to ensure no one was paying attention before whispering, "This is a demon of great significance, closely related to several prominent figures in the Immortal Realm. The Immortal Kings are at their wit's end with him and have reluctantly decided to imprison him here with you. Brother Chen, I’ll be relying on you from now on."
"Is it really that impressive?" Chen Xuan raised an eyebrow. This was the first time he had seen Old Xin so anxious about something.
When they had brought over the Watermelon Demon and Dali Niu Mo earlier, Old Xin had been completely different. This clearly indicated that the demon in the bowl was indeed extraordinary.
However, Chen Xuan felt that this was not his main concern right now; what truly mattered was how to navigate through the current predicament. With that thought, he instinctively furrowed his brow.
Seeing this, Old Xin hurriedly said, "Brother Chen, if you're facing any difficulties, just let me know!"
Chen Xuan felt a stir in his heart as he pulled Old Xin along, hurriedly arriving at the edge of the Barren Land. He pointed at the ground beneath them and said, "Old Xin, take a look at this land. Is there any way to restore its vitality?"
Old Xin was taken aback, thinking Chen Xuan had brought him here for something important, only to realize it was about a piece of land. He crouched down, scooped up some soil, and took a sniff. After tossing it aside, he looked at Chen Xuan with flickering eyes and asked, "Brother Chen, are you saying you want this land to regain its vitality?"
"Yes! Is there a way?" Chen Xuan's heart raced as he eagerly gazed at Old Xin.
Old Xin smiled confidently and replied, "This is no problem at all; I can solve it for you right now!"
"Really?" Chen Xuan's eyes lit up with anticipation as he looked at Old Xin.
With a proud smile, Old Xin scanned the surroundings. Suddenly, his eyes brightened as he pulled Chen Xuan forward with quick strides. Soon, they arrived at the edge of the Deep Pit.
Before Chen Xuan could speak, Old Xin raised the bowl in his hand and respectfully poured its contents out.
With a thunderous roar, a massive sound echoed in Chen Xuan's ears. Countless azure waters surged from the bowl into the Deep Pit, flowing in an endless torrent.
The tremendous noise startled both the Watermelon Demon and Jin. The two demons stood at a distance, watching the cascading waters. The Watermelon Demon appeared confused while Jin's expression changed dramatically, revealing a deep-seated apprehension.
By midnight, the lake water finally filled the Deep Pit, which spanned dozens of acres and was several meters deep. Chen Xuan stood by the shore, utterly bewildered as he watched. In the dim light of night, he could even see countless fish swimming in this suddenly appeared lake.
