Professor Park stumbled heavily. He quickly got back up and ran away without looking back.
Jin Xiong raised an eyebrow and took a step forward, but was stopped by Chen Xuan. He chuckled, "Forget it, there's no point in arguing with someone like him. Let him be." He muttered under his breath, "Lucky him. Next time I see him, I'll break his legs." Jin Xiong pouted, his muscular chest heaving with frustration.
Chen Xuan shook his head with a smile, turning to Professor Yang with gratitude in his eyes. "Thank you, Professor."
"Do we still need to be polite with each other?" Professor Yang replied with a chuckle, casually putting his hands behind his back.
The others dared not slack off and hurriedly followed behind Professor Yang. Chen Xuan took the opportunity to briefly introduce the current situation of the Farm and the future plans to Professor Yang.
Professor Yang listened quietly, occasionally interjecting with questions. Chen Xuan answered respectfully, leaving nothing out. The old and young conversed softly, while the group behind them watched with admiration.
When Chen Xuan mentioned plans to develop the Farm further, Professor Yang pondered for a moment before pulling out a business card and handing it to Chen Xuan. "I have a student in Jianghe City who works in agricultural machinery. Since you're planning to develop the Farm, you'll definitely need agricultural equipment. Just contact him when you have any needs."
"Okay, Professor," Chen Xuan replied as he accepted the card, feeling a bit embarrassed to admit that despite running such a large Farm, he didn't have a single piece of machinery—everything relied on supernatural labor.
Professor Yang patted Chen Xuan's shoulder with a smile and continued walking ahead. Soon they arrived at the expansive Holy Spirit Lake.
"There's a lake here? Not bad," Professor Yang remarked from a distance, marveling at Holy Spirit Lake. "You've done well with this lake; it can serve as an agricultural water source or even as a fish pond in the future." He added, "Creating such a large lake must have taken you quite some time and effort."
Professor Yang sighed.
Chen Xuan smiled modestly, thinking about how much energy he had indeed expended that evening, standing for several hours watching Old Xin pour water.
Professor Yang shifted his feet, preparing to head over to Holy Spirit Lake. Suddenly, his phone rang. He answered casually, "Hello, it's me. What? There's an impromptu meeting tonight? Is that you, Minister Liu? Alright, I'll be there right away!"
After hanging up the phone, Professor Yang turned to Chen Xuan. "Xiao Chen, I have an urgent meeting and need to leave immediately."
"Teacher, let me see you off," Chen Xuan said reluctantly.
"No need, Wang will take care of it," Professor Yang shook his head, declining Chen Xuan's kind offer. "Xiao Chen, you haven't disappointed me. I hope you can keep this up and continue to work hard."
"I will, Teacher," Chen Xuan nodded firmly.
Professor Yang smiled in satisfaction and turned toward the car parked by the roadside.
"Senior Brother, I'll come to see you next time," Liu Yueming and Zhang Hou waved at Chen Xuan as they laughed and left.
After a few steps, Liu Yueming suddenly turned around, her cheeks slightly flushed. "Senior Brother, can I add you on WeChat? I might have some academic questions to ask you later."
"Of course," Chen Xuan replied as he added Liu Yueming on WeChat.
"Goodbye, Senior Brother!" Liu Yueming said cheerfully as she skipped away.
Zhang Hou watched this scene with envy, longing to add Chen Xuan on WeChat as well.
"Smack!" Professor Yang playfully hit Zhang Hou on the head and scolded him with a stern face, "What’s wrong? Is my WeChat not enough to answer your academic questions?"
"Teacher, it's just that Yue Ming—"
"Enough! Are you a girl?"
