Wang Xiong heard Sun Hao's desperate cries from behind. He glanced at Professor Yang, who calmly said, "Minister Liu is waiting for me. We’re short on time; don’t stop the car."
Wang Xiong understood instantly; Professor Yang was prioritizing duty over personal feelings! Well done! After all, that brat had always been at odds with Brother Chen! Hmph! Who does he think he is to compete with Brother Chen for women? Bah!
With a sudden idea, Wang Xiong shouted, "Xiao Wang! Step on it and turn up the music!"
"Got it, Wang!" Driver Xiao Wang laughed heartily.
Meanwhile, at the Jianghe Hotel, Professor Park was becoming increasingly furious. After being humiliated so thoroughly, he clenched his teeth and vowed to regain his dignity. The taxi driver immediately pulled over.
Bang! The car door swung open. Without waiting for the taxi to come to a complete stop, Professor Park darted out like lightning, rushing to the barren land and grabbing a handful of soil, which he quickly placed into a prepared plastic bag.
"Hah! Once I analyze this soil, this research will be mine!" he thought triumphantly. "Professor Yang, just wait and see how you defend your studies!"
With a satisfied laugh, Professor Park swiftly turned back to the taxi, clutching the plastic bag tightly in his arms, and excitedly shouted, "To Jianghe Airport!"
After a moment of silence, the taxi driver asked, "Did you just steal some soil?"
