Wei's brow suddenly furrowed in shock. He hurriedly picked up the business card from the ground, and upon closer inspection, it was indeed Zhou Shuisheng's card! There was no mistake.
A few years ago, Wei had accompanied the county leaders to a dinner with Zhou Shuisheng. At that time, after the meal, the leaders had respectfully accepted Zhou Shuisheng's business card, and Wei had taken a good look at it. It was identical to the one in his hand!

Huh? Old Hei paused in confusion and turned around, only to see a large hand swiftly coming towards him.

Wei delivered a hard slap across Old Hei's face.
"Brother-in-law!" Old Hei was stunned, staring blankly at his brother-in-law, who had suddenly changed his attitude. He looked incredulous. "You actually hit me?"
"What’s wrong with hitting you? I’m going to teach you a lesson for your reckless behavior. Do you really think I don’t know about all the shady things you’ve done?" Wei declared with righteous indignation.
At that moment, Wei was no longer the person who had just been protecting his brother-in-law; he was now a responsible individual deeply angered by his brother-in-law's sale of inferior fruit seedlings! The shift in attitude was striking!
The onlookers were left dumbfounded, their mouths agape in disbelief, as if they had collectively held their breath.
"Brother-in-law, you must know, right? I already gave you a share!" Old Liu muttered timidly, covering his face.
"Shut up!" Wei shouted, startled, fearing that Old Liu would expose his embarrassing secrets. He glared with authority and demanded, "Old Liu, tell me, did you accept this young brother's deposit of Ten Thousand?"
"Huh?" Old Liu was momentarily stunned, then replied blankly, "Yes, Brother-in-law."
"Don't call me Brother-in-law; call me Ren!" Wei waved his hand dismissively and said coldly, "Refund the deposit to this young brother!"
"What?"
"What do you mean 'what'? Hurry up and refund it!" Wei shot a frustrated glare at Old Liu.
Reluctantly, Old Liu waved his hand, and a worker turned to enter the shop. He returned shortly with Ten Thousand in cash for Chen Xuan.
Seeing Chen Xuan receive the cash, Wei felt a sense of relief. He continued, "Now tell me honestly, how many of the fruit seedlings you just sold to this young brother are fake?"
"Huh?"
Old Liu was completely bewildered, staring blankly at Wei. He thought to himself that it was obvious he sold fake seedlings; otherwise, how could Wei afford to buy that BMW last month?
"Brother-in-law, what's wrong?" Old Liu chuckled nervously as he approached Wei, sensing something was off and wanting to brush it aside.
"Stop right there!" Wei shouted again, halting Old Liu in his tracks. He spoke with righteous indignation, "From now on, I am not your brother-in-law but the person in charge of this Fruit Tree Trading Market. I must take responsibility for my work."
"Now tell me, did you sell fake fruit seedlings or not?"
Old Liu was on the verge of tears. "Brother-in-law! You're supposed to help me out here, not defend this kid!"
With a mournful expression directed at Wei, he was met with a fierce glare.
Understanding the gravity of the situation, Old Liu sighed dramatically. "Yes... about Ten Thousand worth."
"That's good enough." Wei nodded in satisfaction and waved his hand decisively. "For every fake sold, you'll pay ten times the amount! Start immediately!"
As soon as these words were spoken, the onlookers erupted in an uproar.
