Unexpectedly, the situation took a turn.
Looking at the stack of hundred-thousand-dollar bills in his hand, Chen Xuan furrowed his brows, wondering what had changed to make Mao Wei's attitude shift so dramatically.
As he pondered this, Mao Wei cleared his throat and forced a smile onto his stern face, stepping forward to present a business card to Chen Xuan with both hands.
"This is your business card, right? I just found it," he said respectfully.

Chen Xuan was taken aback for a moment. As he instinctively took the card from Mao Wei's hands and glanced at its contents, realization dawned on him.
It was the business card of Zhou Shui, the Wealthiest Person in Jianghe City!
So, Mao Wei had found Zhou Shui's card!
A flash of insight struck Chen Xuan. It was clear that Mao Wei had just picked up Zhou Shui's card and, upon seeing that Chen Xuan also had a connection to it, mistakenly assumed that Chen Xuan had a significant relationship with Zhou Shui.
As the Wealthiest Person in Jianghe City, Zhou Shui's influence was undeniable.
Mao Wei wouldn't dare offend Zhou Shui, and naturally, he wouldn't want to offend Chen Xuan either. That explained why he had just reprimanded Old Liu and demanded compensation from him!

A smile crept onto Chen Xuan's lips as he casually accepted the business card from Mao Wei and carefully tucked it into his pocket.
This was indeed a valuable piece of information.
Chen Xuan admitted that he had been too young and naive. It seemed he would need to study what other uses this tycoon's business card might have in the future!

"May I ask what your relationship with Zhou is?" Mao Wei inquired cautiously, his wide eyes subtly observing Chen Xuan's expression.
"Just a business partner," Chen Xuan replied honestly. He wasn't lying; he had only recently collaborated with Zhou Shui on a project.
"A business partner?" Mao Wei was taken aback. Collaborating with the Wealthiest Person in Jianghe City, that was quite a significant figure!
Despite Chen Xuan's calm and casual demeanor, Mao Wei felt he couldn't afford to be careless. He had worked hard to reach his current position and didn't want to jeopardize everything for an insignificant relative.
With that thought in mind, Mao Wei gritted his teeth and said solemnly, "I apologize for the situation today. Rest assured, I will ensure you are satisfied with the resolution."
"Oh?" Chen Xuan smiled noncommittally and casually asked, "How do you plan to handle it?"
"How to handle it?" Mao Wei's gaze flickered for a moment as he fell silent. After a pause, he slowly said, "Old Liu has seriously violated the regulations of Xiangyi Market. I have decided to revoke his business license and expel him from Xiangyi Market. Would that be acceptable?"
"Revoked? Expelled?" Chen Xuan looked at Mao Wei in surprise, not expecting him to be so ruthless.
For Chen Xuan, this outcome was far beyond his expectations.
"That's enough," Chen Xuan nodded slowly and said in a deep voice, "However, he still has unfinished business with him."
"Don't worry, I will ensure he completes the delivery," Mao Wei quickly replied with a smile.
"That's good," Chen Xuan said with a faint smile as he casually glanced at Old Liu, who appeared uneasy beside him.
"Please wait a moment," Mao Wei respectfully said before striding over to Old Liu.
The nearby crowd of onlookers felt their hearts race as they fixed their intense gazes on Mao Wei confronting Old Liu. They held their breath, ready to witness the unfolding drama.
