"Okay," Chen Xuan replied with a faint smile, not saying much. He stood up to see the three of them to the door.
From a distance, they saw Old Village Chief rushing over, sweating profusely.
"Hahaha, Old Village Chief! We're on our way; sorry to keep you waiting!" Zhang Gaoshan said with pride upon seeing Old Village Chief in such a state.
He smiled and reached out his hand, preparing to shake hands with Old Village Chief.
Old Village Chief extended his hand as well.

To the astonishment of Zhang Gaoshan and the others, Old Village Chief instead grabbed Chen Xuan's right hand urgently and said, "Come with me; a Big Leader wants to see you!"
