Chen Dayong curled his lips, looking disdainfully at Chen Dafeng.
As he faced Chen Xuan and the two police officers, Chen Dafeng's heart raced. Could my actions have been exposed? That’s impossible! No one saw anything last night! They must be trying to trick me!

Among them, some recognized Chen Xuan. "Hey, isn’t that the owner of Qing Xuan Farm next door? What’s he doing here?"
"I heard his farm was poisoned this morning!"
"Really? That’s terrible!"
"Why is he here then? Did the owner of this farm do it?"
"No way! Is it really that thrilling?"
"Wait, why does this owner look so familiar? I feel like I’ve seen him somewhere before."
Around them, dozens of tourists were buzzing with excitement, holding up their phones and eagerly capturing the scene. Chen Dafeng's expression shifted, irritation flashing across his brow. Just as he was about to lose his temper, Chen Xuan suddenly pulled out a bag containing four or five bottles.

What? The owner of the farm was truly the one who had poisoned it? A gasp rippled through the surrounding tourists.
"What nonsense are you talking about?" Chen Dafeng's face paled, but he still forced himself to argue, "How could I possibly do such a thing? You're slandering me!"
"Impossible?" Chen Xuan scoffed. "The bottles I have here were picked up from the scene last night. They definitely have your fingerprints on them. Once tested, they will match yours."
Chen Dafeng's face turned ashen; panic washed over him. Oh no! He had forgotten to wear gloves last night!
At that moment, Chen Xuan continued, "My farm has surveillance cameras. I saw everything you did last night. Are you still denying it?"
Surveillance? Chen Dafeng was completely thrown into a panic. Instinctively, he blurted out, "That's impossible! I didn't check any surveillance last night; don't think you can trick me!"
Before he could finish his sentence, it hit him—he had let something slip! His face drained of color as he glanced around at the stunned tourists and the Old Village Chief.
The Old Village Chief shook his head in dismay. "Chen Dafeng, oh Chen Dafeng, how could you be so foolish? How could you do something like this?"

The Old Village Chief let out a heavy sigh, filled with disappointment.
Around him, the tourists were excitedly holding up their phones, their faces lit with enthusiasm. Just moments ago, they had recorded everything that Chen Dafeng had said, which would serve as crucial evidence! This left the tourists, experiencing such events for the first time, trembling with excitement.
Chen Xuan, on the other hand, merely smiled faintly. Of course, there were no surveillance cameras on his farm. No matter how hard Chen Dafeng tried to believe otherwise, the so-called surveillance that Chen Xuan mentioned was just a Chrysanthemum!
