It was a scene of wild boars growing up in the mountains, from their early days as piglets to their current adulthood.
Chen Xuan skipped over these images and arrived at the most recent one. Suddenly, other scenes appeared. The wild boar, in search of food, had inadvertently wandered into the territory of a Fire-red Monster Bird. This was a tall, monstrous bird with a sharp and elongated beak that left numerous streaks of blood on the boar's tough hide.
The bird was furious because it was guarding a peculiar plant. Chen Xuan recognized it; it resembled a type of wild fruit he had eaten as a child, which the locals jokingly referred to as Snake Fruit. It was said that this fruit was once consumed by snake demons. However, unlike the red Snake Fruit, the one before Chen Xuan was purple.
The wild boar, having trespassed into the monster bird's territory, ended up battered and bruised, fleeing in disarray to Qing Xuan Farm. The scene abruptly cut off.
Chen Xuan withdrew his right hand and murmured, "Interesting. It seems there are mysterious wild fruits still existing in the mountains nearby." He could tell at a glance that this Purple Wild Fruit was something special.
He felt a stirring of curiosity and decided to investigate. Returning to the wooden cabin, he gathered some potions and applied them to the wild boar. Without a word, the boar found a spot and fell into a deep sleep.
Chen Xuan shook his head, not bothering with it. He waved his hand, calling Jin and taking some tools before setting off towards the forest.
Following the images in the wild boar's memory, Chen Xuan led Jin through the woods, turning left and right. The location from the boar's recollection was quite remote, seemingly on a certain mountain peak. After more than three hours of winding through the terrain, they finally managed to locate that peak.
At last, they found it! Chen Xuan plopped down on the ground to catch his breath. Jin, holding a shovel, sneered, "My lord, you can wait here. I can handle this alone. Just give me a moment."
After resting for a while, Chen Xuan quickly got up and smiled, "Such a scene is rare; it's much more interesting to experience it myself."
Jin grinned back, "What a small scene this is! If I could return to the Demon Realm one day, I could easily summon thousands of demons to help you out!"
"Stop boasting!" Chen Xuan playfully punched Jin and took the lead towards the mountain peak.
Soon, they arrived at the designated spot on the mountain. A hissing sound reached their ears. Chen Xuan's heart raced as he pushed aside the bushes blocking his view and focused intently ahead.
Before him, two massive Black Serpents were entangled in a fierce battle with a fiery red creature, a bizarre bird. Behind the creature, on a rock, grew a Purple Snake Fruit. Chen Xuan watched in awe; the scene before him was more captivating than any fantasy film he had ever seen. His eyes sparkled with excitement as he took it all in.
Jin cast a glance at the spectacle, his expression subtly shifting. Descendants of the Black Water Xuan Snake and the Vermilion Bird—he had not expected to find two major Yao Di lineages coexisting in this world. Unfortunately, their bloodlines had thinned to the point where they could no longer cultivate.
Jin murmured in regret. As for the Purple Snake Fruit, he had no idea what it truly was, but given the circumstances, it must be something extraordinary.
The Black Serpents continued their frenzied battle until, at last, the outcome was decided. The creature fell to the ground, defeated, foaming at the mouth after being struck down by the two serpents.
Hissing triumphantly, the Black Serpents raised their heads to the sky, celebrating their victory!
"My lord, you wait here; I will be right back!"
