After a while as a fisherman, Jin Xiong could no longer contain himself. He flexed his strong chest muscles, grabbed a shovel, and charged out.

Hearing the commotion behind him, two enormous Black Serpents turned their heads in unison, their eyes filled with malice as they stared at Jin Xiong.
With a fierce grin, Jin Xiong taunted, "If your ancestor were here, I might consider letting you off easy. But you two mindless beasts think you can challenge me?"
As he spoke, Jin Xiong swung the shovel down with great force.
The Black Serpent nimbly dodged and lunged to bite him.
Jin Xiong seemed to have anticipated the serpent's attack route. Calmly wielding the shovel, he blocked the Black Serpent's strike and then countered with a powerful swing that smashed into the serpent's body.
After exchanging blows for a few moments, it was clear that the Black Serpent was no match for Jin Xiong. It was swiftly crushed, its skull shattered by the shovel!
"Pah! If I still had my powers, you two would have been dead with just a breath from me!" Jin Xiong grumbled in frustration over having taken several minutes to defeat the Black Serpent.
In a fit of anger, he skinned the serpent and extracted two serpent gallbladders, swallowing them whole with a satisfying gulp.
Ah! The effect of these gallbladders is quite impressive!
Jin Xiong squinted his eyes in delight.
Chen Xuan approached and glanced at the massive corpse of the Black Serpent on the ground, feeling a lingering sense of dread.
Two Black Serpents, each at least four to five meters long and as wide as a palm, were a rare sight near Chen Family Village. However, these creatures were of little concern to him. He approached the rock and reached out to pluck the only Purple Snake Fruit.

With the Purple Snake Fruit secured, Chen Xuan and Jin Xiong quickly returned to the farm. Just as they arrived at the farm and before they could even rest, Chen Xuan spotted a familiar figure—none other than Xu Xian, or rather, Old Xin! At Old Xin's feet crouched a thin man who looked shifty and suspicious.
The figure in the distance gave Chen Xuan the impression of a recently released convict.
What is this? Chen Xuan raised an eyebrow, a glimmer of joy flashing in his eyes. Could it be that Old Xin has brought new demons with him?
With that thought, Chen Xuan quickened his pace towards Old Xin.
Old Xin soon heard the commotion behind him and turned around, revealing an exceptionally haggard face.
Chen Xuan frowned slightly, suddenly recalling what Jin Xiong had said about news concerning Old Xin. Could it be that something really happened to him?
At Old Xin's side, the Thin Man slowly turned his head at the sound, revealing a face that looked half-asleep and extremely dazed.
Ye Xiao? At that moment, upon seeing the Thin Man for the first time, Jin Xiong couldn't help but exclaim in surprise.
Huh? The Thin Man appeared as if he had just woken up; hearing someone call his name, he opened his eyes in confusion.
As he focused his gaze and saw Jin Xiong, his small eyes widened in shock. The Thin Man burst into tears, exclaiming, "Boss, I finally found you!"
