"You make it sound too easy. With enough materials, I could even build a flying dragon boat for you! What a waste of my time!"
As he spoke, Sun He shook his head, pointing toward the distant courtyard with pride. "Move everything inside. I will enter seclusion for three days to make some modifications for you."
"Seclusion?" Chen Xuan raised an eyebrow, looking at Sun He in surprise. "Are you sure you know what you're doing?"
"Of course!" Sun He replied confidently. "Your request is too simple; even a disciple from the Heavenly Mechanism Pavilion could handle it."
"Rest assured, if I, Sun He, take action, it will definitely be a masterpiece."
Chen Xuan remained silent, his piercing gaze fixed on Sun He. After a long moment, he slowly nodded. "Alright! I'll trust you this once. As long as you're satisfactory, next time there's an opportunity, I'll let you return home."
Chen Xuan hinted to Sun He that if he performed well enough, he might allow him to go back to the Heavenly Mechanism Pavilion.
"Return home?" Sun He’s expression suddenly turned wistful as he murmured, "My home is long gone."
Shaking his head, he walked toward the small courtyard with a heavy heart.
A large pile of parts and robots was moved inside by Chen Xuan and Wang Xiong. Then the heavy door was shut tightly.
Ye Xiao, who had been sleeping, was kicked out abruptly.
"Damn it!" Ye Xiao groggily rubbed his eyes, half-awake and pointing at the courtyard as he cursed, "Sun He! You old bastard, just wait until tonight; I'll show you what I can do!"
Wang Xiong awkwardly chuckled and pushed Ye Xiao's finger aside. "Hey buddy, the courtyard is on your right."
"Oh, sorry about that!"
Chen Xuan stood outside the courtyard, observing the scene unfold.
Silently waiting for the conclusion, Wang Xiong did not possess such patience. He greeted a few people and took several pounds of eggs with him.
Just a few days ago, he had reached an agreement with Chen Xuan. Now, he needed to gather people to fetch water from the orchard. Wang Xiong hurriedly set off.
Time passed quickly, and in the blink of an eye, three days had gone by. During these three days, Sun He had neither eaten nor drunk anything, remaining in the small courtyard. If it weren't for the occasional sounds coming from inside, Chen Xuan would have almost thought that Sun He had run away.
On the afternoon of the third day, the door that had been tightly shut for three days finally opened. At this moment, Chen Xuan, Jin, Ye Xiao, and the Watermelon Demon stood at the entrance, waiting for the door to open.
The door slowly creaked open. Sun He emerged gradually; after three days of absence, his face was terrifyingly pale, and his eye sockets were deeply sunken.
As he scanned the surroundings, Sun He did not see Wang Xiong and immediately shook his head in disappointment. Then he turned to Chen Xuan and sighed, "You little brat, without any magical power, you've really taken a toll on my life."
Despite saying this, Sun He wore a very proud expression.
Chen Xuan felt a surge of excitement and asked, "Is what I want inside there?" His gaze shifted past Sun He towards the small courtyard. Unable to contain himself, he was about to step into the courtyard when Sun He, with a cheerful smile, reached out to stop him.
"Hold on, you little rascal," Sun He chuckled. "Don't be so eager. Let me show you what I've got!"
With that, he clapped his hands and called out, "Shennong!"
With a crack, a tall figure slowly emerged from the small courtyard.
