When it came to serious matters, Chen Dahai's expression turned solemn. He said in a low voice, "Do you know where I’m working now in Jianghe City?"
"Where?" Chen Xuan asked in surprise, wondering if his father had recently struck it rich given his mysterious demeanor.
"I'm at Zhou Shoufu's Shuisheng Group," Chen Dahai replied quietly.
"Zhou Shuisheng?" Chen Xuan exclaimed in astonishment.
"Yes!" Chen Dahai nodded proudly. "Even though I don’t have much education or experience, when I went for the interview at Shuisheng Group, they chose me right away and offered me a supervisory position."
"Hmph! Pretty impressive, right?" Chen Dahai puffed out his chest with pride.
Chen Xuan chuckled oddly at this revelation. After thinking for a moment, he began to piece together the situation. This had to be Zhou Shuisheng's doing—an effort to strengthen their relationship further. Truly worthy of being Zhou Shoufu!
The operation was seamless, almost flawless. If it weren't for Chen Dahai bringing it up, Chen Xuan wouldn't have known at all.
