Liu Toukang nodded, noticing Jiang Chen's nonchalance, and felt a bit anxious inside.
Twenty minutes later, the cruise ship set sail for Black Dragon Island, which was only eighty nautical miles from Hong Kong Island Pier, and would take just over an hour to reach.
Jiang Chen and Ding Yan leaned against the ship's railing, enjoying the scenery. Lin Rumei was also on board and approached Jiang Chen to greet him.
"What a coincidence today! I didn't expect to run into you here. Kid, we can settle our accounts today," a sudden voice interrupted, as a middle-aged man in martial arts attire stepped in front of Jiang Chen with a cold smirk.
This man was none other than Master Wu, accompanied by Zhao Hun and Ding Yan's biological father, Ding Shaowen. Ever since that night when Ding Yan appeared, Zhao Hun felt that he had been cuckolded by Ding Shaowen, leading to an irreparable rift between them. Yet today, they stood together, united in their animosity towards Jiang Chen, believing that everything stemmed from him.
Jiang Chen glanced at the unexpected visitors and chuckled lightly. "Still not satisfied after getting beaten last time?"
"Kid, don't be so arrogant. My master is here today," Master Wu declared proudly.
"I already told you last time that Master Wu's master is not someone to be trifled with. Don't think just because you know some martial arts that you can look down on us," Zhao Hun sneered, feeling emboldened by the presence of Elder Liang.
Ding Shaowen remained silent but wore a stern expression as he stared at Jiang Chen and Ding Yan. Ding Yan returned his gaze with a darkened expression.
"Do you enjoy looking for trouble? Get lost," Ding Yan snapped angrily upon seeing Ding Shaowen and Zhao Hun.
"This occasion doesn't allow for your insolence. Master Wu, please bring Elder Liang here," Zhao Hun said with a sinister smile.
"My master is chatting with Master Jia right now. But I can assure you that even if I gave this kid a hundred chances, he wouldn't dare make a move here," Master Wu scoffed.
"Is that so?" Jiang Chen found it amusing that Master Wu would come looking for trouble after being taught a lesson once.
"If you dare make a move here, it would mean disrespecting Master Jia. Offending him is far more serious than offending me," Master Wu said with a cold smirk.
"Don't worry. Since your master is already here, there's no need for me to personally teach you a lesson," Jiang Chen replied with a playful smile.
"What do you mean by that?" Master Wu's expression darkened.
"When your master arrives, you'll understand. Now please step aside; I want to enjoy the scenery," Jiang Chen gestured for Master Wu and the others to move out of the way.
Master Wu frowned; seeing Jiang Chen so calm made him uneasy. After all, he wasn't Jiang Chen's match and dared not push his luck before his master arrived, so he stepped aside.
Jiang Chen continued taking pictures of his mother while others watched in surprise. Many recognized Master Wu as Elder Liang's disciple known for his formidable skills, yet he seemed so timid in front of Jiang Chen—it was unexpected.
The Liu Family and Guo Family were also watching from nearby.
Liu Toukang said to his mother, Han Baiying, "Mom, weren't you curious about who is stronger between Elder Liang and Mr. Jiang? We might find out soon."
"Mr. Jiang certainly has quite a few enemies," Han Baiying chuckled.
